Hey! I used to live in Jackson, MS. This guy is a literal hero. Lemme break something down for ya. Mississippi is mostly rural plantations (yes, still) of either cotton or corn (and in the delta, soy), but Jackson is the most hustling, bustling, place there despite the city itself not doing the best financially. I lived slightly outside of it in a place called Madison, governed by Mayor Mary. She was a nice lady (sort of) despite being somewhat homophobic (my father worked for her in uhhhhh 2010 I think) Madison, the sister city is inhabited mostly by the rich and bigoted people that sit on their porches and drink sweet tea. Jackson is a city, yes, but people are much more poor there than in Madison. Another thing- the government there will NOT usually let people get any food stamps because the people typically governing Jackson or Madison are part of MS one percent and place more regulations on it as well as discriminating those who are poorer and so it’s very hard to get them anyways. This man, WHO APPROVED EVERYONE OF FOOD STAMPS IS A HERO. The government shouldn’t discriminate against you for being poor, or your race, or your job. This man helped people provide for their families so they could eat a little better. He deserves everything.

1. She never yells at her students- her record breaking 121 decibel shout happened during an event she’d been invited to. She was defending her title after setting the previous shouting record during a competition at a church camp, where she got to 119.4 decibels 

2. The only reason she entered the first competition was because her twin sister had entered and was about to win with a shout of 119.1 decibels. 

3. They took her to an expert to try to understand how she shouted so very loud and his conclusion was that her supernatural volume was fueled entirely by her need to beat her sister.
