13 - how much planning do you do before writing ?

again, it honestly depends on the circumstances !! for one shots i typically pick a bit of dialogue or an interaction that’s really been dogging me and use that to drive a small story. for a longer story, however, i probably do too much planning. storyboards, notebooks filled with notes and scraps of storylines or character interactions, etc. literally the definition of overkill 😅

8 - what project(s) are you currently working on ?

(too many)

only three currently !! a slow burn, multi-chapter lokius au (please ask me about it i am dying here), a smaller series of post-canon lokius one shots, and another longer series for another fandom (though i have been chipping away at this one for almost three years so let’s not get our hopes up 💀)

16 - at what point in the process do you come up with titles ?

it honestly depends !! i typically just finish a fic and then pull a line from a song i’ve been listening to on repeat during the writing process, but iometimes i’ll stumble across the perfect lyric during my writing, as well !! almost 100% of my fic titles are just song lyrics, and the scant few that aren’t are just lines pulled straight from the fic itself

it took me a bit to get back to this one because i honestly have such a hard time deciding !!! in the long run, however, i think my favorites are probably with all the layers (peeling off); (a modern au snippet and my first time writing Jane Foster, whom i adore) and more than words; (slow dancing post-canon lokius my beloved)

neither were ever all that popular, but there’s something so enjoyable about writing something that takes place outside the “constraints” of canon, and i just remember having such a fun time writing each of the stories 😭
