when I was like 15 we went to Rome and my mum unwittingly piled us into one of those fake scam taxis that was basically a mob car with “definitely a 100% genuine taxi” taped to the window.
anyway I have no regrets bc he drove us around at like 1000 kmph blasting some italian classical music station through pimp my ride subwoofers, blew every traffic light, and at one point stopped in the middle of a ring road intersection to get out and cross 3 lanes of traffic and have a fist fight with what I can only assume was a rival fake taxi driver. he tried to overcharge us but my mum was like ‘no I looked up the journey prices before I got here’ and he was like lol fair enough have a nice trip and rocketed off into the night
this is why I will never support lyft or uber

Hiya, will you ever post struck again? I really loved it.
Sorry, love. I haven't been on Tumblr in years. The short answer? Probably not.
The truth is I was putting sooo much of myself into Struck. It was my absolute passion project. It's all I did before and after work. I work a soul crushing 45-60 hours a week in manufacturing, so literally all I was doing was working and writing Struck. I didn't mind, I loved it.
Until I started to get a lot of hate, all surrounding the OCs. I get that most fandoms don't tend to embrace OCs, and I knew I was going to have a hard time when I added them, especially Nina, Tom's OFC bff. A LOT of readers felt like she was a huge threat to Hermione and they hated it. They started to attack the character.
Problem was I had based Nina off someone I knew IRL who'd passed away and it was my way of honoring that person, so it hit me like a freight train and I started to have severe anxiety attacks in the middle of work. Even got so bad I went real deep into depression in a way I hadn't since I was a teenager and that scared the fuck out of me.
So for my own mental health I just straight up deleted the story because I was terrified of reading more hate if I walked away and came back after a few months of recovery. You know, only to open it back up and relapse into that bad depression.
Maybe a few years from now I can start posting what I have and work on it, but probably don't hold your breath? I feel like if I do, I'll post part one, without Tom or any romance other than the OCs she saw during her time in the past and expand on it, then just leave it like that. I was trying to expand the HP universe and do my own thing for the joy of it and I felt very attacked for it.
That said, I do want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who did love Struck and were sad about it's loss. I'm sorry I'm not a stronger author. I really am.

Sakura Haruno/Kakashi Hatake - Naruto
It would never be cannon, of course, since she’s with Sasuke, but Kakashi deserves love and I think these two would be good together. I like that Kakashi is one of the greatest ninja, and with being that comes the perils of living the shinobi life. He’s complex, hidden under a simplistic demeanor. Sakura is awesome, in Shippuden and beyond anyways. There are a lot of reasons I like this ship… listing them all would take forever. Example: Better Man (M) by Kakashisgf or House Calls (M) by Spoiled Sweet
Luna Lovegood/Draco Malfoy - Harry Potter
Okay, this is probably one of the best crack!ships. Honestly, I think they’d be well suited to each other. Luna is everything that Draco isn’t, but she has an intellect that few could understand, and I think he would be one of the best people to understand her veiled wisdom. Example: I adore this pairing in Tying the Nott (M) by @shayalonnie, she captures what I think these two would be like in a relationship perfectly.
Darcy Lewis/Loki Laufeyson - Thor
Tasertricks, anyone? These two are great, if Darcy doesn’t piss Loki off enough to just end her, I think he’d keep her around because she would amuse him. Darcy is a hilarious one of a kind woman, and Loki is God of Mischief. Who wouldn’t like this ship, really though? Example: One of the best, A Morbid Taste for Ice (M) by Sitehound.

Fanfic Authors
A little while ago I saw a post in which someone said that they ‘cringe whenever a fanfic writer even publishes their original work’ That statement made me pretty angry. The implication that we aren’t good enough to write our own stories is absurd. We put in the same amount of time, effort, research and love that published authors do. In some cases more.
We are capable of coming up with our own ideas and characters and to imply that they won’t be as good as a published Author’s is immature and narrow minded. Many popular writers wrote or continue to write Fanfiction and use the platform to improve their craft. Including;
