c!techno growing roses in the arctic even though they're a difficult flower to grow under normal conditions because he knows that roses are c!dream's favorite flower and that makes it all the effort and pricks of the thorns worth it in the end.

c!dream always stopping to pick dandelions when he sees them, even when he has to go out of his way to do so, and showing up with dirty hands and grass stains on his knees and a handful of dandelions because he knows they're c!techno's favorite flower.

The dichotomy of love between drunz and dnb is so interesting to me. Loving someone wholly and completely and doing absolutely anything to show you care about them but in totally different ways.

Accepting all of Dream's flaws but never thinking of them as such, kissing each scar he inflicts upon himself and saying 'you're still beautiful' versus sitting him down and gently suggesting that maybe this isn't the only course of action and there are other ways. Hearing this man spout an absolutely bullshit plan that will backfire in so many and saying 'I'll follow you to the end of time' versus suggesting that actually this plan probably isn't gonna work and there's better things he could be doing to get what he wants. Finding him in the same place that caused him so much pain and trauma and sitting down next to him and saying 'I meant it, I will follow you as long as you lead the way' versus taking him by the shoulders (gently, oh so gently) and trying to look him in the eye so he knows there's a better place in the middle of the Arctic with warmth and love and people who won't hurt him and it's just as safe.

Neither is objectively superior. To love someone exactly as they are as long as they're happy is just the other side of loving a person so much you try to push them to be the best they can be. Passive vs active love, but just as passionate and deep and all-consuming.
