Dadvid™

@dadvid

I genuinely cannot believe “Dadvid” was available as a username. Did no one try the obvious? Anyways, I just love Max and his Dad and that’s all I’m here for. And angst. I’m thinking about writing fanfics so feel free to send me an ask!

you think we like found father son relationships more because we still dont really expect dads to be good dads to their own children and so to see a genuinely good and great found father son relationship wether if its a true story or fictional we just cant help but be fascinated by it

Alright I got one. Dadvid. It’s Max calling David Dad for the first time. On accident, on purpose, whatever. AND/OR finally admitting to David that he does in fact love him, but only that one time- if anyone asks he can’t stand him 👀🤫

Hi, sorry I'm just getting to this now since I went on a short hiatus! It had been a normal day in the household. Max had lived with David since at the end of camp his parents didn't pick him up. As much as Max said living with David sucked ass; he didn't think it wasn't half bad.

David had been cooking up some breakfast per usual. It was your ordinary breakfast; eggs, bacon, pancakes, and toast on the side. Max had just woken up, yawning slightly as he grabbed his teal hoodie and slipped it on before he walked out of his bedroom and made his way to the kitchen.

David looked over and smiled. "Good morning, camper!" He spoke, a wider smile plastering onto his face. "Don't call me that, camp is over." Max spoke as he made his way to the coffee maker, brewing up a cup of hot coffee. "Sorry, I just miss the camp." He spoke, smiling. "Hopefully this year we get all the campers back." David spoke, finishing up with the breakfast. He placed decent amounts of food on the two plates, then picking the plates up. David walked over to the table as he held the plates of food, setting them on the table.

Max looked and grabbed his cup of coffee before sitting down at his rightful place at the table. "Thanks dad," Max said, quickly taking it back. David looked, a small sparkle in his eyes. "Did you just- Did you call me dad?!" He asked excitedly. Max looked and rolled his eyes. "If you tell anyone, you're dead, David." He spoke, continuing to eat his breakfast.

David: *seriously* Max, we have to talk about something.

Max: Okay, dad

David: *🥰😲💕* jsjfjjbbwfsewhf

Max: can I go now

David: *softly* yes

Gwen: You do realize he only does that to get out of trouble

David: *still overwhelmed with family love*

Camp Camp Headcannon: HC 3

Max has been going back to Camp Campbell every year and once he turned 16 he became a Junior Camp Counselor but TOTALLY NOT BECAUSE HE SECRETLY LOOKS UP TO DAVID is TOTALLY JUST BECAUSE HIS PARENTS MADE HIM EVEN THOUGH THATS NOT EVEN PLAUSIBLE

Camp Camp Headcannons: HC 8

Max is an intense attention seeker and that’s why he causes so much trouble at camp. David used to not accept it but after parents day he kinda let go of that worry because he understands why Max is looking for attention, whether it be negative or positive.
