ATTENTION PET OWNERS

This post is going to rushed but I’m still shaking and it’s hard to type but I NEED people to know this

My mom just took my dog to the vet She(my dog) was(still is?) having a seizure

Last month we took my dog to the vet and they told us she had developed diabetes, they told us it was caused by the food she was eating, purina beneful. They told us that there have been many many many reports of Beneful has been causing diabetes, seizures, and even death in dogs.

We had no idea

We immediately switched her food and put her on a special diet plan for her diabetes, unfortunately the effects were already permeate.

Today at 11:20 my mom woke me up crying, I helped her carry my dog to the car (while she was still having a seizure) and watched her drive away red faced and still crying.

Please please PLEASE if you are feeding your pets Purina beneful PLEASE switch their food ASAP Beneful is poising dogs and I don’t want anyone else to experience what I just did Also if you could please help me signal boost this so everyone can know

This would explain why my dog has seizures now…fucking hell

Beneful is terrible, they do a really good job of making the packaging pretty and healthy-looking but the stuff is total crap. I’m a dog sitter and every dog I’ve watched who’s been fed Beneful has been overweight, failing health, and one even had to be on long term seizure medication. I know times are tough but please find a better food for your dog, anything better than Purina. Even if you can only afford a small bag of the good stuff and have to mix it with the other kind, even if you have to check out a dog food recipe book from the library and learn how to make homemade food for cheap. Your dog deserves better.

I would disagree. In season 1 she sees the older sister, Nancy as an idol, since she is everything 11 could be if she hadn’t been abused and detained. She wants to be this dream, which is Nancy, with long hair and pretty clothes. I don’t think it’s necessarily ‘pretty’ that 11 sees when she sees the dress, but 'Nancy’.

In season 2, when she gets angry at Max, it makes perfect sense, both for her age and her situation. She’s been isolated from human interaction her entire life. When she sees mike interact with a girl (and 11 is aware that she too, is a girl) it’s more than understandable she gets angry with max. In her eyes, Max is trying to take Mike away from her. Mike is perfect and can do no wrong to her, and here comes this other girl who will do the same to mike as 11 did, and that’s a threat. Secondly, surely someone who has been so isolated can’t have the complex thought of analyzing the situation and realizing who she 'should’ be mad at. Max is a threat - defeat with the threat. It’s what animals do, they fight the threat of their relationship. They court and try to one up each other, and many animals have to physically defeat the opponent. I’m not saying that this is how it should be, because us humans have an intellect and can reflect, in just saying that it’s not weird or ridiculous for this to be the initial reaction to such an issue. And since 11 is very primal in her nature, it makes even more sense.
