Concentration camp.

They built a concentration camp.

I don't think words can describe what this other than genocide.

Released this morning, May 10, 2024 by CNN. Israeli concentration camps. Psychological torture, medical procedures by untrained interns without anesthesia, amputations for handcuff injuries. What the fuck

Absolutely fucking horrifying.

abstract and modern art haters are sooo snobby like klein literally Created an entirely new pigment and then painted a canvas in a way where the brush strokes wouldn't be visible. the insinuation that people with no skill could reproduce that is so annoying because unless you are skilled at color mixing and painting you definitely couldn’t lmao

i hope it's okay to add this because i think it hits the nail directly on the head

Honestly, it's like picking up a book and saying "I know all these words, I can type, I could have written this" like there's no middle step between the technical ability and the finished work.

This song is already amazing, but this animatic is perfectly done to accompany it.

Also, you should really read this essay by the lyricist who explains how the song came to be and shares some deeply personal connections with the lyrics.

Here's a useless thought my head just supplied me with that I absolutely can't use.

Co-op game where if one player sees another, they die.

Both die? Just the one who does the seeing? Just the one who is seen? All players or just one crucial character? Do reflections count?

"Don't turn around. I'm right behind you. I'm going to put the mcguffin down behind you and go around the corner, I'll tell you when it's safe to turn around; let me know when you're looking away again."

Yes this, I love this idea

It was stupid good. So good in fact that the bbc filmed a version and put it on dvd when it debuted. I bought that dvd after I saw the show and put it up on the Internet Archive. The audio is not great but the dancing is spectacular. Ever see a pas de deux around an anatomical dissection? You will.

This is modern art. The tragedy and hopelessness is perfectly encapsulated in your lack of a choice. Were you in his place, you would do no different. Because the gods have deemed it so, because fate is stronger than you. I’m usually not a big art person but holy shit

"Everyone thought Gotham was cursed when the Waynes died. But it wasn't. It's us. We're the curse that never dies. A legacy of disaster, a cure that never works. But we have to dare to be better. We're the shipwreck and the storm, but we owe effort. Service, duty, justice. It's the Wayne way."
