hello!!! i’ve been trying to find your poem on cain and abel for the longest.. would you mind telling me where i can read it? 🫶🏼

I took down a bunch of my poems unfortunately, but if you remember anything specific about which Cain and Abel poem you're talking about, I'll DM it to you :)

how do you feel about quotes from your poems being attributed to fictional characters for things like fanart (with credit)? like an illustration or short comic?

i admit, the characters I’m thinking of specifically are from Supernatural, so I would understand if you were okay with people doing that for other shows/characters but not Supernatural (because it’s such a cesspit of a show, and also because it’s so Christian).

sorry to bother you! 🙌 hope you’re having a good day!

I’m actually a bit embarrassed to admit I love supernatural 😭 I have a destiel blog @sodomitecastiel, you’re more than welcome to put my quotes on your spn posts lol

This is probably going to come off as very silly, and I hope you don't mind. I know it's important to you that when you reference Judaism in your poetry it not be reattributed to Christianity. So I was just going to leave the "Jewish poetry" tag in my reblogs. But is that weird? Like you if saw that would you think that's reductive or is it okay for me to tag it that way lol I'm sorry this is so silly I just want to be respectful :')

I appreciate you being so careful! Feel free to keep the tag in your reblog, sounds normal to me :)

Red Light is so beautiful!

It felt really good to get to be nostalgic about the first time I read Siken and first time I watched Winter Soldier, honestly. But even without that context-- you're so talented! Stunning stunning stunning work as always. I felt EVERYTHING.

Thank you for sharing. Xoxo

You are too kind!! It was definitely fun to stumble across and remember how I was feeling when I wrote it :)

Do you all want to read the fourteen paragraph Bucky Barnes themed prose poem I wrote in the style of Siken’s You Are Jeff at age seventeen? I recently found it again after a long time buried & found myself very fond :-)

Alright, well, you’ve been warned— it’s a long sonofabitch and I’m only posting it because my lover egged me on. Much love!!

Hello! I have been on a bit of a journey, trying to locate one of my old favorite poems/lines and I thought-well, it might be you! I love your work so much, and if you are the author and do indeed have the poem in a collection for sale I'd be happy enough to know that! I think it went something like this (I had it memorized completely, once upon a time,,,):

In five hundred years' time/ I hope that (like stars) our love will outlast us/ and someone far away will tilt their face towards the heavens/ warmed by it

Please ignore if I've got the wrong person, haha,,,

That is mine! I took it down (along with many others) because I plan to get published someday :)

Unfortunately, I don't have it anywhere for sale yet- but I'm very flattered by the interest!! I hope someday I do have a book of poetry I can direct you to... in the meantime, if you dm me, I'd be happy to send you the complete version of the poem you mentioned here!

I saw your poem the good fight recently and I wanted to know if the incest vibes were on purpose…

What an intensely loaded question. Yes? No? I wrote it in 2017 and it was mostly intended to be a metaphor (the same as most of my Cain and Abel poems were back then, I wasn’t actively trying to adhere to the biblical story every time I invoked their names… it felt like an easy entry to discussing codependency and murder, lmao). But also, I did lean into the ick factor on purpose, so I can’t say it was unintentional. I still love to ride the line between yucky and devoted in my poetry, and I will also admit I’d been reading a lot of Siken that year, so take all that as you will. Tbh of all the fucked up things to fixate on in my old poetry, I’m pretty sure Schrödinger’s incest vibes are the least of one’s worries

I hope this isn't weird but I wanted to let you know that the icarus poem you wrote back in 2016 moved me so much that its stuck with me ever since. I think about the lines where you talk about him holding the sun in his mouth so often. I don't think I've ever read something with such beautiful imagery

This is so touching, thank you for letting me know!!

hi, i know you don't know me, but i just wanted to let you know that you were the reason i started writing poetry three years ago, and now i'm getting two poems published at the end of april. also i'm trans now, which also tangentially because of you, because if i hadn't gotten into poetry i wouldn't have met my trans poet friends who helped me along that journey. you don't have to answer this if you don't want to, but i just wanted you to know how much your poetry means to me, as a young jewish trans person, and i don't know where i would be right now without it.

This reply is so terribly late but I just want you to know how much this means to me <3

Hi! It's neither finished nor published yet, but I'm writing a novel that I plan to publish both on the platform Wattpad and as a physical book. I'd like to use your poem "You don't get to die and be reborn the same. You come back, but you come back wrong. This is the price you pay for resurrection" as the epigraph. Do I have your permission to do so? Thanks.

As long as you credit "Nathaniel Orion G. K.", absolutely!

hi i was wondering if i could rb one of your ghost/dying poems? it showed up on my explore page & the tags don’t say anything but i’m not jewish so i want to know if it’s okay? sorry if this is rude aaa

Reblog away! I'd just appreciate it if you didn't leave tags implying the poem is about Christianity. Thanks!
