I’ve finished filler chapter 114.1 so I’ve passed that onto @karithina-hua​ for a QC before release. 

Our files are laid out in sets of three - JPG for the raw, PSD for the redrawn file and PNG for the releases. 

In addition to working on 136, I’m also aiming to release another filler chapter for 61.1 and @reach-for-me-now​ has done some awesome work with redrawing for the scenes. There are some tricky parts where it requires redrawing entire scenes to remove the original hanzi text, like this example below:

Chapter 114.1 filler chapter is now out! 

Work and uni have been busy. It’s hard to get motivated to study. T_T But! I finished translations for 61.1! I’ve passed them onto Moonie to check over for accuracy for me. 

It was a rather difficult/dialogue heavy chapter to translate, so I suspect there will be a lot of corrections from Moonie.

I was hoping to finish the translations tonight but I was up early this morning for x-rays at the hospital, so I’m stupidly exhausted. (Lower back injury) I’ll aim to get these done tomorrow/Wednesday and update again. 

In the meantime, don’t forget to check out  Chapter 135! 

Apologies for the lack of updates. Things in our household haven’t been too great health wise. 

I mentioned that I got x-rays done for my lower back. In short my results are not good and my back requires ongoing treatment and rehabilitation for a very long time (approx 6-36 months). Basically I have a choice of treat it now with two-three times a week rehab and ongoing physio, or if I leave it untreated, there is a very real chance of surgery and bolts for my lower back/spine. The frustrating thing is preventative care isn’t fully covered under my health insurance (for physio treatment they’ll cover 1/3 of it, but then I need to top off the rest) but if I need the surgery, despite it costing more, somehow it’ll all be covered. I don’t understand Health Insurance logic… 

Secondly, our family spent the past few days on the edge as my dog suffered from hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. It… was really bad, and I honestly thought he was going to die. He stayed in intensive care at the vet hospital for a few days and we got updates about four times a day on his progress. The vet wasn’t confident at first as he’s 8 years old, but he pulled through due to the vet’s  amazing care and how quickly we got him to the vet. 

He is recovering well and is back home now.

133 Progress

So the fun thing about translating when you are a non-native speaker… is deciphering the onomatopoeia. 

Sometimes I can work them out if I draw them into my tablet, other times… I have no idea what I am doing.  😂

@90percentsa1t completed the OCR for me today, so I’ve started work on the translations. In between doing the work for Chapter 450, I’m hoping to get this chapter done mid-late this week. 

I spent my weekend out bushwalking and looking for wild Koala’s to show to the exchange student staying with us, and we were successful! 

We found two while out walking, which was really good considering it started pouring rain (hence this guy was shaking off all the water droplets). 

We had some really nice views at the top of the hills as well. And no, that image is not filtered/photoshopped in anyway, that is the actual colour of our trees currently because of all the rain we are getting.

Current Progress:

I’m about 30% of the way through the translations currently, and thankfully this chapter isn’t as text heavy as the last one, so I should be able to get through it sooner. 

Will update again once I’m done!

Chapter 450 is up!

So a lot of things are now clear - Lihua exchanged her soul for Xi’s (apparently Shenlongs can do that 0_0. Mega mechokku!), Yinzhe used his powers to give Xi new body and he did that because Yin asked him before dying to keep an eye on Xi. And Jinghua…well, you will see and I bet you will be happy. Aren’t we all happy he finally said it? HE FINALLY SAID IT.

Mangago Uploading

Uploading to Manga Readers

Just a quick note from me - I can see that someone is downloading the translations that I provide and uploading them to Mangago.

While, I appreciate you enthusiasm for sharing releases…

If you are doing this - please stop. 

The chapters ARE already going out to Mangareaders, so you don’t need to worry about posting it. 

I currently have set up the translations to be about a week delayed behind what I post on Tumblr because I do make mistakes and errors. Tumblr is a “pre-release” platform that I use for releasing Spiritpact - and sometimes there are issues/typos that come through. 

I’m not preventing people from reading, my blog is public, and everyone can see/read the releases - so if someone wants to see the latest update, simply redirect them here to my blog. 

Please leave the posting to be handled by the automated bots so at least the version that goes out to the readers is correct.. 

^ Two examples above. - first one is a line I forgot to clean up when making the panel, and the second is where I typed the sentence incorrectly. (Both of these are fixed on my blog)

By setting my releases to be delayed a week, this gives me time to fix any typos/errors, so that readers have the best experience. I don’t want to have to go to the effort of “watermarking” pre-releases for a week then taking them down and re-releasing to stop people from uploading them to readers, but if this continues, I will look at doing this.
