“I wish!” Taric answered with a laugh. “I asked them two years ago that should I finally wed you would they do me the honors of being my groomsmen.” He now explained. “I think between the four of you you’ll find a dress purrfect for you. My tux has been ready for as long as I have.”
He showered her in more affection now. Taric’s lips came to leave kiss after kiss upon Nidalee’s head before gently tilting it up so their gazes could meet. He softly brushed the back of his index and middle fingers against her cheek before leaning in and topping it off with a tender kiss.
“I love you Nidalee. I promise to make you the happiest woman around.”

—≪🐾≫”You’ve already made me the happiest woman, Taric.”

She purred even louder at all the affection he was giving her. She felt like she couldn’t get enough of it. She nuzzled against his hand, before giving him another kiss to the lips.

“I love you too, my sweet.”

“Excuse me.” Irith called to the marked woman. “Is there perhaps a guest room that I may reside in for the night?”
The Behemoth had been forced from her home ten miles from here. A large pack of Dire Wolves had decided to settle into her territory and though she chased them out the damage was done. They had scared away all of the prey animals she needed to best survive. This turn of events had forced Irith to take a human form and wander to the town and this mansion. Though she outright disregarded the looks she would receive as she made her way here. She had even let herself in as another maid had come in through the front door.

—≪🐾≫”I don’t see why not.”

She looked her up and down, not even put off by the fact she was entirely in the nude.

“As long as you don’t cause trouble, the mansion is free for all to stay in. The only thing I ask is you come with me to put an entry into the guest book. Sir Taric likes to know who has come and went in the house.”

“A fair enough alternative, but at some point I’ll have to disallow you to continue doing all of the work my fine feline.” Ringabel replied. “I’ll pass on the berries for now though. Good things come to those who wait.”
Ringabel really wanted to eat the berries. While his wise words were true, they weren’t true enough for his stomach to… Well stomach the idea of him putting off eating.

—≪🐾≫”We’ll see.”

After, she bounded off, seeking to hunt something small... A rabbit or a few birds would do for the meal between them. It didn’t take her long to track down something, returning returning ten minutes later.

“I shall skin, while you make a fire... Keep it contained.”

“Hm. I have a good idea of who I would like. How many do you have? It’s custom to match, correct? As for honeymoon… As soon as you figure out how fast and long you can keep my claws out of work.”
A laugh as she sighed, leaning against him, closing her eyes.

“I have three.” Taric answered with a smile. “Thomas, Gerrant and Reyn. They’ve all agreed and Gerrant happily agreed to being best man.” He finished before hugging Nidalee closer to himself. “As for getting you out of here and off of work quickly, I think I have a good idea of how.”

Taric actually had a few plans in mind for that. Catnip, a few cat toys, packing her bags  into a cart and feigning injury. There were a few more too. He most likely wouldn’t do that last one, but there was that laser pointer trick he could try. The people in Piltover claimed it worked for grabbing an animal’s attention.

"Alright. It shouldn't take me long. I'll choose in the morning and have them come with to help me pick out a dress. I have to ask how you already know they will be your groomsmen. Have you had this planned in advance? I would almost expect you have a holy man ready to wed us at a drop of a pin."

Another delighted laugh, before her purring got louder, content to be with him. For poor Nidalee, he knew her biggest weakness: Her cat like tendencies.

“That sounds purrfect.”
A smile ever on her face, as the former warrior nuzzled against his side. She was feeling particularly affectionate after everything, especially since she was free to now.
“Are you nervous? Entering into marriage so quickly. I thought humans enjoyed courtship for awhile before such things.”

“Of course I’m nervous.” Taric admitted. “But not because of how soon we’re getting married, I’ve been ready for that since I first fell for you.” He corrected. “I’m worried about how well I can supply you with happiness and comfort. I want you to feel and know that you’re loved and treasured more than any precious gemstone. To know that I love you dearly, and that I always will.”

Another kiss came, this time to her cheek. Afterwards Taric scooped her up in his arms as he stood and sat on the freshly changed bed with her in his lap. There was much for him to do tonight such as planning their hotel room, getting their wedding location set. Not to mention letting everyone know that tomorrow they have the day off from work.

“So how soon would you like to go on our honeymoon my lovely feline?” He asked. “You need to figure out who you want as your bridesmaids too. I’ve already got my side figured out. While you do that I can get our venue and hotel nights set up.” There was an endearing excitement in his tone.

“Hmm… Do you remember the place you visited the trip before last? Where you brought me that beautiful carving? How about there? You said it was a high tourist spot, yes?”
It took her a bit of work to speak without seeming flustered over his statement hence why she avoided addressing it completely. With a final flourish of a pillow case place on the last pillow, she declared it to be done. She then moved to kneel down in front of him, pressing a finger to his nose.
“I dare say you’d be the only nobleman anyone would believe the stories of hearing him do housework to assist the head maid.”

A chuckle came as his fiance pressed her finer to his nose.

“I dare say you may be the only head maid anyone would believe stubbornly turned me down for a few years before saying yes.” Taric teased before kissing her finger. “But in the end you said yes, and it pleases me more than anything else in this world can.” He confessed.

He now gently brought her to sit before him against the sit of the bed. From here the nobleman slowly brought his lips to Nidalee’s and planted a loving kiss upon her own.

“As for our honeymoon spot I do remember.” He answered after breaking the kiss. “It’s still a large tourism spot. It’s an ancient city brought up to accommodate the modern day. It lies deep in the jungles south-west of Mount Targon. I hear they recently finished a road that leads there. I can easily have a honeymoon suite booked.” Taric added with a loving smile.

"That sounds purrfect."

“So you can hear me while I am in my feline form? Interesting. What brings you to the wilds, Queen?”

>>💮>> “Curiosity and the excitement of discovering something or someone new. Like yourself. You’re not an ordinary cougar, are you? Especially if you know my lineage.” Luxanna smiled, curtsying respectfully. “Forgive me if I am trespassing, noble one. I felt your presence I could not resist the urge to meet you.”

"You would be right."

She shifted into her human form, standing now to her feet, back arching to stretch out the feeling of having been running around on all fours. She swept her hair back into a ponytail, via a ribbon that had been around her wrist.

"Given you come in peace, you are not trespassing. I have heard many tales of how you help all. Those at peace with nature, please me. I'm sure I can sate your curiosity, if you'd like. After all, I know everything in this first."

“How about someplace tropical, like what you’ve told me about?”
She commented as she reentered to the room, promptly stripping the bed of its covers.
“It seems like a pleasant enough place to be. Warmth. Water. Some exotic things I haven’t seen before. Besides, I think we can manage a classic honeymoon cliche.”

“A cliche hm?” Taric answered with a chuckle. “I like the idea of a tropical region, it makes me think of the day we met. A day that changed my life for the better.” He mused, hoping his honest thoughts might get Nidalee a little flustered. With her skin tone he had no real way to see it, but there was a work around. “Have any specific place in mind?”

The tub had finally been scrubbed clean and a sigh of relief came from Taric as he stood up. Cleaning it had been a chore, but at least it was done. What had come of its use though also served as a reason to smile. The bath had broken the ice for them after all these years. With the tub and the floors taken care of the bathroom was now completely in order so Taric began drying the floor in the bedroom proper. In hindsight he realized that perhaps he should have started with that floor and worked his way into the bathroom. There was an upside though as cleaning the water off the bedroom floor meant he could constantly steal glances at the beautiful feline woman who would be his wife as of tomorrow.

“Go ahead and start on the bathroom, I got this under control.”
Truth was, she’d probably have the bed taken care of I less than five minutes. Changing the bed was like nothing to her. She flashed him one more smile before quickly scurrying off to get clean sheets.

An endearing smile was returned when the head maid smiled his way. Once she was gone Taric got to work in the bathroom. He got the floor taken care of first thing so there was no risk of either of them slipping. Nidalee was the least likely to slip and fall between them.

Once the floor was dry Taric began work on the harder part; scrubbing down the tub. The bath salts made for a slightly more rough cleaning, but nothing too hard. The nobleman was happily humming a tune to himself as he worked. How could he not? He had proposed to Nidalee and this time she said yes. The two had finally bed one another and overall his feelings were being accepted. There was much joy to be had by him.

“Finally, everything I ever hoped and dreamed for can be attained.” He beamed. “Now to set a goal we can aim toward together. Something that would bring happiness to both our lives.” Taric thought aloud. “Ah, I’m getting ahead of myself. Wedding, honeymoon and then I can think about such things. I wonder where she’d like to go for our honeymoon.”

“If that is what you wish, My lord - - um. Taric. Then I shall stay with you. The early tomorrow I will hunt for a dress while you make arrangements for us to be wed. You have… Made me really happy. Honestly.”
She nuzzled his cheek once more, before moving to start changing the bed sheets.

A smile and chuckle came from Nidalee’s words and actions. Taric was more than pleased with the fact he had made her happy. So much that a satisfied hum left the nobleman’s lips as he too got off of the bed.

“I’m glad I have. I’ve wanted the opportunity to make you happy in a romantic manner for so long.” Taric admitted as he stretched a bit. “Would you like help with the bed or would you like me to start in on the bathroom?”

—≪🐾≫”Hm… That is true. You’ve been waiting for so long and I’m a woman of little patience… Tomorrow. Let’s be wed tomorrow. I’m sure I can have a dress made by the morrow.”

She had little thought of the fact he was most likely going to have her purchase a dress, not spend the whole night making it. In fact, in reality, she wanted to stay with him this night, but if they were going to be married so soon, she wished to make sure everything was well…
     Purrfect.

“That would take you the entire night Nidalee. You wouldn’t be well rested. I’d prefer, if you’re willing, that you buy a dress in the morning and not worry about the expenses.” Taric suggested. “That way we can have this whole night to clean up and share a bed until dawn.”

Taric had a tuxedo ready. He’d bought it a few years ago to have it on stand by if she should ever agree to marry. Now that she had his purchase would pay off, but it also meant one less thing to prepare for tomorrow. Even though they would share a bed for their years to come he still wanted her sharing his bed tonight. Even if it felt a little selfish.

"If that is what you wish, My lord - - um. Taric. Then I shall stay with you. The early tomorrow I will hunt for a dress while you make arrangements for us to be wed. You have... Made me really happy. Honestly."
