The grin on Colby’s face grew at her meeting his challenge. He wasn’t sure he had actually expected her to play into his game fo stroke the ego but she had. “Yeah that works for me.” He licked his lips and sent her a fllirty wink. “You’re not so bad to hang out with either. It’s actually surprisingly eeasy to talk to you. Also a little scary.” He laughed playing off the moment of realism as best he could. He was not ready to get deep with her yet. To go to that place and expose his belly to her. This was fun and if they shared and did the whole friend thing too that was cool but he had to have a line somewhere. Lest this whole arrangement get out of hand. He’d made promises that he didn’t intend to break. “I can think of a lot of ways I want you.” He sent her a naughty smirk. “But in the case of Jaylor I’m cooking up a naughty plan for game night. Lots of whispering and touching, secret glances, pul out those A+ acting skills of yours Nikki because we’re putting on an Oscar worthy preformance.” He grinned. Turnabout was fair play. “I won’t have to do much. They both gave me lectures about you. Told me you weren’t just another girl I could work my magic on and walk away from. think we put them in a position neither of them know how to handle. They don’t trust us to be adults and handle our buisness.” He shrugged not really bothered by it too much. He did have a reputation so it wasn’t undeserved. “I’m always down for a Disney movie. Peter Pan is boss. But if you ask me my favorite movieit’s Harry Potter hands down so you might not want to let me pick the movie unless you’re prepared to get drunk and listen to my horrible british accent.”

Colby jumped on Jon’s back and messed up his hair and placing a iss to the top of his head before falling back on the ground laughing. “You’re the best brother. Don’t tell Ro or  Brandon.” He winked at him. As much as Jon loved both of the other guys he and Jon had a different sort of history and they could both relate to each other on levels the others couldn’t. They had just bonded instantly in the ring and out. Similar backgrounds had also played a large part. Despite Colby having a step dad and step brother around who never treated him any different the fact that his own father had walked out on him and left had made a mark on his soul most people couldn’t understand. Jon always had his back and that was something he knew he could always count on. Sure he could count on Ro but Roman had his own life and family. He couldn’t always answer Colby’s 4am rambling calls about nothing just because he was lonely and needed to feel like he was wanted by someone. Jon always answered and he never made him feel like he was an annoyance or a bother. He never questioned him, he was just there with a beer or a hug and let Colby come to him when he was ready. He just got him. He rolled his eyes but grinned none the less, “I love her too but if you tell her that I swear I’ll fight you for real.” He glared not even half heartedly. “She’s special and I really am happy for you man. Gonna go out and get me a Jaylor t shirt. Hell I’ll just make Saylor make me one.” He laughed. The conversation turning to his school brought out the prideful sense of him once again. “It’s great. My mom helps out a lot. She really looks after the dorm and the boys and Marek has the leader thing going on. I wish I could get there more often though. But it is what it is. I get there when I can. It’s doing good though. It feels good giving back and helping kids like us follow their dreams. Giving them the shot we didn’t really get. Keeping them off the streets and out of jail. You should come by sometime. We can do a series on kick ass tag teams.”

Colby puffed his chest out with pride and his cocky smile made an appearance on his face. “Damn right I’m a good brother. I’m the best and I’m only willing to share that title with Ro. So everyone else can go to the fucking back of the line.” Seth was usually pretty laid back and casual, especially in terms of his relationships but when it came to his brothers he had a bit of a possessive streak. Sure he had his sister and step brother but neither of them had ever really gotten him the way his boys did. They hadn’t been as close as he was with Jon and Roman. The insecure and self loathing part of him was always worried that they would leave him because he said something or did something stupid. His act before thinking lifestyle made that a likely thing to happen. Everyone else could leave him and he could care less but Jon and Roman were his anchors and even if they didn’t know it he needed them. At his friends response he was torn between laughing and feigning relief. Deciding to go with the latter and holding a hand to his heart. “Thank god for that. She’s like the extra sister I never wanted. Tormenting me one minute to acting like a mama bear the next. Never thought I’d meet someone who could be crazier than you but you found her.” Now he did grin at his best friends happiness. If nothing else it was the only thing Colby ever wished for. To see his brothers happy. He would give all the championships in the world for it. “Yeah. I’m looking forward to it.”
