You know what makes me mad? Someone stealing my photo ops and reposting it cropping me out of it😠🔪

This weekend I met Cory Michael Smith as well as a few other cast members from the show at Alamo City Comic Con. He was actually last minute replacement, and he was joined by Sean, Drew and Benedict Samuel (aka Mad Hatter). This weekend was not only filled with meeting new cast members, but also meeting up with Gotham family as well.

The first day that Gotham cast attended I cosplayed young Gertrude with a lil Oswald by my side for the first time. This happened to be a little boy and his mother whom I met through the show, though most con goers thought we were related. The highlight of that day aside from meeting the cast was bumping into a whole bunch of Gotham cosplayers, to include another Gertrude.

Yesterday, I finally go to show Cory my Edwina Nygma cosplay. When he spotted me in the photo op line and smiles really wide and yells really loud at me that “Look at you!"and just continues to stare as I walk in pausing before adding, "Today is the day!” and gives me a big hug and a fist bump.

He loved my photo op idea and played along with it wonderfully; the perfect dark Ed to my Edwina.

Due to last minute filming schedule changes, David and Camren had to cancel their appearances. The con was able to replace them with Drew Powell (Butch) and Benedict Samuel (Mad Hatter). Both of them are super sweet to fans as well. Drew always referred to me as his friend or repeat customer.

Benedict was attending his second con ever as a guest at least but he seemed to enjoy himself and loved all of the love fans were showing to his characters.

I said goodbye to Sean last and talked to him a bit about my Alfred cosplay and showed him my swag (jewelry) I have for it. He first compliments me on the color I chose for the apron and proceeds to tell me how I cane make the cosplay better. “I had this engraved on this ring and this on the tie bar.” He is really something else😂But still is one I will always say hi to at any con I attend that he’s also a guest at.

Perfect end to a perfect weekend 😊

Thank you! Lady Penguin is a personal favorite of mine because she taught me that curves can be sexy and beautiful. I am now more comfortable on my own skin because of the first version of Lady Penguin.

Perhaps if I ever come to the UK, we can be beautiful fem-Penguins together☺️
