Eu gosto de ver alguns desenhos meus quando me sinto mal com a faculdade. Eu penso, cara, eu to nessa merda a 4 anos e no fim nao vou trabalhar nisso. Acho q sou timida demais, nao consigo falar com os professores. Me acho um lixo. Aí eu folheio meus cadernos de rabiscos e sinto um alivio em perceber q pelo menos eu não faço só merda. Tenho uns rabiscos legais q assim, tb nao servem pra nada, mas dão mais prazer de ver q um diploma de merda imaginario.

any words of wisdom on inking?
I’m not sure I have any mind blowing tips on inking because, frankly, my lines are shit
what I can say is, don’t stress yourself out about it. I sometimes have to draw the lines three or four times before I’m happy with them and even then I still prefer the sketch
if your program has a stabilizer, setting it to a higher pressure should help with shaky lines.
I have mine set to 3, but my hand doesn’t shake unless I’ve been drawing for a while. 4-7 is usually ideal
Also, don’t know if this will help anyone else but it does help me! if I’m feeling discouraged about doing linework I’ll usually put some colors under the sketch, just to get a feel for how it will possibly look when I actually finish something and hopefully motivate myself to get it done
sorry I don’t have more advice! inking is literally my least favorite part about drawing
I feel you. Inking is hell. But so pretty when well done, that it isn’t just inking anymore, is your hole drawing soul, and colors the mood.
