This year I really got into hockey. My 89-year-old grandmother who has dementia and is living with us just casually said one day, “I want to learn more about this game.” I thought she would forget, but ever since, she has been actively watching the games. Today, she is even skipped watching Mass because she wanted to watch the game 🥹

Update: she moved from her normal seat to one closer to the TV…and the most amazing thing? She knew the score!!! It was SO cute seeing her have such interest in the game 🥹🥹🥹

#😔#it’s been noted by other locals to largely stick to the Gofundme donations and NOT the Colorado Healing Fund#if you are able to donate please consider doing so#my heart hurts for all there and their safe space#this city is my home and I’m so mad that someone took their safe space (in a city that *can* be so bigoted)#despite the hate and harm that’s been shown there have been so many local shops (also safe spaces) who are banning together#my favorite local stationary shop sold out of 🏳️‍🌈 flags which doesn’t often happen
