Honestly, are you a mind reader? I’ve been meaning to read Nimona for AGES ever since I saw it and recognized the art style from the book cover of Fangirl. It’s so good?? I’m 40 pages in and loving it so far!

Also, the kinetic sand is such a god send, honestly. I have no idea how you knew that I needed a new destress/stim toy but your timing literally could not have been better!

And of course, the mug. I am such trash, and this is absolutely perfect. I can’t wait to make myself some hot chocolate in that!

The mail at my work finally sorted itself out this week and I got my gift from @cuddlebugdexy for @omgcpsecretsanta! It is, quite frankly, amazing. Baking supplies! Homemade PB&J and dog biscuits! Videos of Cricket enjoying her treats to follow :)

My @omgcpsecretsanta gift just came today! with a tiny lego Kent Parson - complete with interchangeable hat and cowlicked hair AND a tiny beer glass to commemorate his loss of party games against Lardo - a chocolate frog, popping candy, a cute finger puppet monster, some cool Harry potter tattoos, and (my total fave) those freaking socks man!! I’ve wanted something with that design on it forever! And, as my Secret Santa pointed out, they’re so obviously Kit Purrson.

Whoever you are, dear Secret Santa, thank you so much for this!! it’s super cute and I loved opening all of these little things separately for one surprise after another! ALSO! That drawing/note is so awesome! The detail is totally great and it was super cute to read. Thank you so much for everything!!

Aaaahhhh!!! My @omgcpsecretsanta came in the mail yesterday!

I love it all so much @kent-parson-protection-squad (why won’t tumblr let me tag you?!?)

I love the scarf and socks. I can’t believe the scarf is homemade, it looks soooo good. I can’t imagine how much time and effort you put in it. They’ll both work great and just in time (it’s been freezing in Seattle this past week so I’m always cold.)

The mug is absolutely darling! I’m so excited to drink tea from it and try the tea blend you sent (I’ve had mixed experiences with ginger, so I’m interested to see how it is). Your artwork is amazing!

I’m also really excited to try the bath bomb when I go back home.

Today my secret santa gift from the @omgcpsecretsanta gift exchange arrived! The lovely @albino-pony sent me this wonderful gift all the way from Poland :)

This present was so incredible How To Train Your Dragon is my absolute fave movie and toothless is my spirit animal. And Kent Parson is my trash hockey son and I love him <3

Just got home from DC about ten minutes ago and finally got to open my @omgcp Christmas present! This book looks exactly like the sort of thing I love, I’m super excited to dive in. And oh my lord will you look at this bookmark! I took a detail shot so you can see how tidy the stitching is. I’ve done a bit of cross stitch, and I can absolutely see how much care went into it. Thank you Santa!

Ahhh! I finally got the chance to check my PO box and got my @omgcpsecretsanta gift from @megsamforever!!! I could tell immediately that there was something from lush because you could do smell it and I wasn’t disappointed! Plus some of my fav chocolate, cute little lights, and awesome stationary. but! my @omgcpsecretsanta​ gift has been cheering me up! A beautiful French rolling pin for all my pie and croissant baking! :D :D Bitty will be keeping me company when I bake now, as will my secret santa! I just noticed that it’s actually from Canada, too, so Jack and Ransom will be well represented as well. :)

so, thank you SO MUCH @lesgallys​ ! by the way, your package arrived well in advance, but I’d given you my folks’ address just in case, and so I didn’t open it till Christmas. And then I didn’t even feel well enough to post my excitement, even though it had cheered me up! 

also, your dropping by my tumblr to chat, especially that first time with the election awfulness, was wonderful. I wasn’t sure if I could post publicly or reply privately, so I erred on the side of caution, but it really was a great lead-up to the holidays at a time of finishing a LOT of classwork and obligations to others all at once. :D :D :D
