i also can’t comprehend listening to it and not being embarrassed to be a ts fan. listen to florence welch’s voice. transcend time and space and your mortal body. understand the power of words and poetry and breath and life and beauty. and then whatsherface starts singing again and it’s like a fucking record scratch and you’re mortal again and the words lose all their poetry bc it’s just a privileged white woman who’s buffed out all her personality to appeal to the largest audience possible singing some stupid shit again

Just to also add, this song was originally called "October Rain" and it is 100% Israeli propaganda, they were forced to change the lyrics because they were too political, and so they censored it so it could bypass the rules.

“The president emphasised that at this time in particular, when those who hate us seek to push aside and boycott the state of Israel from every stage, Israel must sound its voice with pride and its head high and raise its flag in every world forum, especially this year,” KAN said.

Taken from euronews. They also tried submitting another propaganda song called "Dance Forever" but that was rejected.
