all their history reduced to nothing bc xbox decided that all their resources should go to the 36228th call of duty and a new fallout sequel bc now there is a show on and they need the hype to sell more. the future looks terrible. Thanks for nothing.

my overtime is being cut down on at work due to new management. i was already struggling while working 60 hours a week, and this is the current state of my bank account after being paid yesterday and paying for housing. if i could get some help to cover this + extra for upcoming bills/groceries, it would be appreciated

Once again asking why there was a music festival at the edge of the world's largest open air prison where people were dancing and partying while people were being starved and imprisoned so close to them. How is that a "peaceful" festival.

Literally the one question no one has an answer to. Why were they there. Why did the Israeli government let them have a party there. Out of everywhere in "Israel", why did you have a party near the largest concentration camp as a citizen of an occupying nation.

not to detract from your point, but that is quite literally what happened, and the resemblance is fucking terrifying.

around the time when the 1943 warsaw ghetto uprising began, the nazis set up a merry-go-round right next to the ghetto's walls along with music, and people were dancing, having fun in the pleasant april weather. marek edelman, one of the most prominent leaders of the uprising and a notorious anti-zionist as well as a leftist organizer, in the book "shielding the flame" (which i believe everyone should read as it provides insight into how the ghetto operated and made me realize how uncannily close the sitation looks like modern day gaza), stated that he could hear the music outside, and he could see the happy people, and he was so, so terrified that all that joy outside will drown out their screams for help, the gunshots and the fire.

and i can't help but think about how familiar it sounds now.

Holy shit. The Israeli whistleblower story CNN just broke is insane. I cannot believe what I’m reading

Rare firsthand accounts by Israeli whistleblowers cast light on the horrific conditions in the Sde Teiman torture camp in Naqab Desert. Palestinians are stripped down, blindfolded, forced in diapers, and forbidden from speaking. They are subjected to beatings and mental degradation regularly. So much depravity that has gone unseen. Doctors performing procedures outside of their expertise, amputations due to zip-typing of abductees’ wrists, having large dogs unleashed on them at night. Being fed food through straws. I can’t believe it. I am truly in shock. And this is just one whistleblower accounting of this. Who knows what else is happening beyond our knowledge

My heart is breaking into a million pieces

Worth mentioning that multiple Palestinians have recounted these stories before, as direct victims detailing their experiences. What's unique about these accounts from CNN Israeli whistle-blower is that they're from an Israeli, therefore people are more likely to take this seriously.

saying 'xbox shuts down redfall developer arkane' is like if someone kidnapped michaelangelo and forced him to make a line of funko pops. and then killed him. and then all the newspapers reported it as 'funko pop designer michelangelo killed'

Police may also feign kettles in order to cause a protest to disperse.

Protests that move quickly are harder to kettle (but are easier to split up as people get left behind). Something important to note is that kettles are used by police to gather intelligence. Police may tell you that you will be allowed to leave if you provide your name and your address, if you give information about other protestors etc. Police can and will lie to you, do not trust them. Never talk to cops. Being trapped in a kettle is stressful. Police may decide to arrest a few of you or all of you. Their goal is to gather information and to demoralize you. They might threaten or harass you. Your goal should be to remain calm and to help the people around you remain calm. Remember if nobody talks, everyone walks.

Now that Israel had destroyed practically all housing units in Gaza, it is now striking literal tents where displaced Palestinians had sought refuge.

At least 15 people were killed and dozens injured today in an Israeli attack on refugee tents in Al Mawasi, an area designated as a safe zone by Israel.

Although this post is originally from March, just wanted to remind everyone that Israel is still targeting tents. The last attack was yesterday (April 30) when Israel struck tents in Rafah with literal firebombs.
