Many of you are still waiting for an update, and I apologize for that. For those who haven't heard anything, I'll be explaining everything that's happened so far.
After hearing about GG (astraldefender)'s involvement in the BNHA zine that fell apart, myself and mods from the other TEOU zines as well as the Occult zine worked together to draft an email requesting the materials needed in order for us to ensure the zine's success. This included access to the email and BigCartel accounts, a full PayPal history, and all produced merchandise to be transferred to a mod of that respective zine, among other things.
On December 6, 2018, we sent this email to GG and gave her a deadline of the 9th to reply to us. At the end of the day on December 9th, we received an email back. This email stated her reasons for being inactive, which I will not discuss here, as well as a promise that she would "work on getting everything together."
In order to be sure we were on the same page, we immediately emailed back asking for clarification, but received no response. We waited until December 15th, the original deadline we had given her to send proof of the materials being sent, and still not even a response.
We were forced to move forward and advise our buyers to request a full refund for your orders, and if you have not received it three days after requesting then to file a chargeback.
After speaking with the contributors of the TEOU Shance zine, we agreed to create a free PDF of the zine using the works created despite some of them already being posted. This will be developed over the next few weeks and should be released some time in January if all goes well.
However, we need help. Even as mods of the zine, GG never allowed us access to the TEOU email, which means we do not have a list of those who purchased the zine. If you purchased the TEOU Shance zine and have any questions or concerns, please reach out here on Tumblr or at shirosquared@gmail.com. If you purchased the zine and would like to be on the email list when the PDF is finished, please send me an email as well.
I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused for you, and if there's anything I can do please let me know. Unfortunately, only GG can issue refunds through the Stripe/PayPal account. We did not want to have to do this, but GG has not cooperated with our requests.

i am very sorry it took me so long past monday to get this update posted, i was hoping to have something more solid by yesterday at the latest, but my information gathering took longer than anticipated.
i will have a longer post about this once we’ve resolved our current state and moved forward with solutions. the important message i need to get across regarding TEOU and Occult is this:
currently, at least one mod from each publication has been in a large chat to discuss how to proceed. because refunds from the BNHA zine were issued and seem to have processed, we’re not really willing to call this a scam. we all pretty much agree that this came down to poor time management and communication, as well as taking too much on at once. we are currently reaching out to gg to come to a resolution. we’ve sent an email with a list of needs that must be met to see each project through to completion, with a response deadline of the 9th.
once we receive an answer or reach the deadline, whichever comes first, we will have a group update for you all.
i am so sorry about how this is playing out, and i cannot reiterate that enough. i am not in the least blameless here. there are a ton of things i could have done differently, but that’s hindsight and not a good excuse. i am willing to explain my point of view on the matter, if necessary, once we’ve reached a satisfactory conclusion.
as for now, just know that we are all working very hard together to see what we can do, and we’ll have more info for you shortly.
