Welcome to Big Brother’s Little Brother!

This blog is for all you transmasculine people out there to find like minded people for advice or just as a friend. If you’re looking for a big or little brother fill in the form in the submissions and send it off.

Anyone can be a big brother; just as long as you feel that you’re in the position to give advice!

If you have any questions or suggestions don’t hesitate to send in an ask!

Do you know any good places to make trans friends here on Tumblr. I have a hard time finding mtf people to talk to and I'd really like some friends to talk to who are going through the same changes as I am.

I think the blog @trans-lesbian lets you submit selfies and descriptions with the goal of making friends. @trans-selfies and @brownandtrans and @advicefortranskids all let you submit selfies to meet friends. I don’t know if there are any specific blogs for transitioning mtfs, but I’ll post this so hopefully those blogs and fellow trans women friends can find you!

@transfriends is a blog dedicated to helping transgender people find friends that are also trans, you can sumbit an application or look through who’s already submitted theirs

Here’s to the trans men who can’t come out because of their parents.

Who still have to wear frilly blouses and girls’ jeans because they have no boys clothes.

Who don’t have binders yet.

Who can’t start hormones and aren’t allowed to have hormone blockers.

Who get deadnamed by strangers.

Who still have long hair because they aren’t allowed to get it cut.

You’re still manly, and handsome, and I’m sorry you were born to people who don’t deserve you. Hang in there boys, because someday you’ll be able to escape this awful closet. You won’t be stuck like this forever, I promise.

transfriendly jobs

i’ve been doing research about jobs/companies that are accepting of trans and the like since i’m going job hunting again next month, and i found this list, which lists trans-friendly businesses. it links to this page, a directory for employers.

tagging so people can see it, i figured this might come in handy for some people!

Hey transmasculine and gender-variant folx! If you wear a chest binder, I made an Android app that you can use! It reminds you to take off your binder at the end of the day and also to stretch out your back during the day. You can find it in the Google Play store here

If you’re having issues with it, or have any feedback for me, I’d love if you could email me at binder.reminder.team@gmail.com. And if you like it, feel free to rate and review it!

Friendly reminder that it’s okay for trans women to still sympathize with the struggles some men face, that it’s ok to still love and feel some level of kinship with some of the men in your life. You were raised to relate to them, and you have certain common experiences.  It’s also okay to feel no connection to any men and to hate the idea of masculinity intensely.  Neither of these invalidate your identity or womanhood.

for every trans boy who had a hard time realizing they were trans because they liked stereotypically feminine things: it’s ok and you’re supported

for every trans girl who had a hard time realizing they were trans because they liked stereotypically male things: it’s ok and you’re supported

for every nb person who had a hard time coming to terms with their identity because of the things they liked: it’s ok and you’re supported too

Hello!! My friend and I just started a blog to help spread positivity among trans-masculine and masculine-aligned people called @positive-boys. And we were wondering if you would be willing to help promo us? We are aiming towards sending support and love among other trans people and it would be great if we could get the word out there about our blog! Thank you so much! :))

you can be:

  • a trans boy
  • a trans girl
  • genderfluid
  • a demiboy/girl
  • agender
  • bigender
  • nonbinary
  • genderqueer
  • anything other than cis

and not experience gender dysphoria.

gender dysphoria does not determine if you’re trans.

ATTENTION TRANS PEOPLE

if you are looking for a name change but cant afford the basically $400 like most people then go to your local court house and ask for an “indigent form” that form you will state that you cant afford to change your name. so then it will be free if very little.

feel free to add to this if other states have any more information

Landon told me to do this so when I went to the county clerks office I asked for a fee waiver, I had to go to the law library to get the right paperwork then filled out my income and my monthly expenses and they waived my $290 court fee. I still had to pay for the notary and fingerprints and whatnot before all that but it ended up being around $50 total rather than $300+ definitely look into it if you need some financial help with this process!

Additionally this link had all the info for name changes in TX that I needed: http://www.transequality.org/documents/state/texas

(I think you can go on that site and select other states as well so it should be helpful!)

I know this isn’t exactly fashion but I like rebloging other resources for you lovelies too.

November Binder Give Away!

It’s that time again!  On November 15th (some time not long after midnight EST) I will pick three winners using a random number generator.  The winners may pick any binder top from Underworks or gc2b (I’ve used both personally so I’m familiar with them, and can answer questions if you’re unsure which you’d rather receive)

You can check them out at their websites here: www.f2mbinders.com www.gc2b.co

  • If the winners want a different brand at a similar price (up to $40 before shipping), I’ll happily accommodate.
  • This is only for trans/non-binary/etc people who require a binder–so no cosplay please. But, everyone is welcome to reblog this to boost in case their followers may need a free binder!
  • I’m giving this away completely free-of-charge and will ship worldwide.
  • Please be available to respond to a message within 48hrs and be willing to provide a name and address for shipping.
  • Both likes and reblogs count as an entry, but you’ll get no more than two entries.  You don’t have to be following me to win!  GL!  <3

I really want to see more cis boys who like boys being actively supportive of trans boys who like boys bc I’m tired of being afraid to flirt or form friendships with other queer guys bc I don’t know if they really see me as a guy

reblog so more cis boys who like boys can see and support trans boys who love boys
