No one had to know, not after decades of silence, of seeing the chaos unfold and Cubi play cats and mice with their human snacks. 

The different stares didn’t really bother her anymore -- most gods were no different from humans, a fact she didn’t voice or Zeus would have her punished.. Corpses were piled on top of one another, their bodies drained from nourishment. Different Cubi still hovered over the living. She’d failed them all.
