Finishing up the rest of the chapter for Lost in Limbo on my phone is so difficult! 😭

Send help! Also, listen to my song inspiration for this chapter.

Hey, i read your story on AO3 and I absolutely ADORE it. Your song inspiration is absolutely killer and your writing is *chef's kiss* beautiful. It's hard for me to find fics where everyone is behaving in character and has an engrossing plot, and you exceeded both expectations! I love Eddie so much and I feel like your characterization of him is perfect! Keep doing your thing, I live for it!!

Good evening @scoopsohboy, it’s really encouraging to read this, considering I’m trying so hard to continue this story. I absolutely love this pairing, and I only write because I want to read stories with similar plots. (Lol) If you can’t tell, Eddie is my absolute favorite 😂 I feel like he and I are very similar, and I wanted to make sure he didn’t fall under the typical “girl” role. I absolutely appreciate you taking the time to write this, I’m in awe of this comment :) I hope to give you the next chapter just as soon as I possibly can.

I don’t know if this has been done, but I NEEDED to see it. Therefore, I created it. Not the best execution, but you get the point :D

Disney Songs Meet It Characters

Georgie Denbrough

This is an obvious song choice for him. Taken away too soon! My poor boy. ;-:

Eddie Kaspbrak

In this song, Claude Frollo convinces Quasimodo to stay locked within the bell tower because the outside world is cruel. He mentions that he is Quasimodo's only “friend.”

Which is similar to what Eddie’s mom has done to him, convincing him that he has all these health issues. So, he is very afraid of all the germs outside and takes unnecessary precautions.

However, this song is very motivational because Quasimodo goes on to disobey Frollo to protect his friends. Which is exactly what Eddie does in the movie :D

(Another good song for him might be from Moana’s, “How Far I’ll Go.”)

Bill Denbrough-

Hercules is on a mission to find his parents. All of his life, he felt like he didn’t belong. He goes through many trials and finally gets a chance at his dream, but gives it up for the person he fell in love with along the way. I decided this song for Bill for two reasons.

1. He doesn’t truly belong until he befriends the Loser’s club. After his brother dies, his parents don’t seem to pay much attention to him.

2. In the movie, Bill was on a quest to find out what happened to his little brother, Georgie. His friends go with him along the way and when the situation gets dire he is willing to give up his life for theirs.

So, I feel like he deserves this song because of all the obstacles he overcomes.

Beverly Marsh-

Mulan is feeling lost in the world and doesn’t understand her place She also feels that she disappointed her families name. Mulan steps up to the plate to fight in her father’s place during the war. Even when her comrades discover who she truly is they throw her out, but she returns to them in order to save all of China.

For Beverly, this song is more about her overcoming her reputation. Everyone sees her on the outside for some kind of “whore.” In reality, she is a lonely girl who comes from an abusive home. By ganging up with the other Loser’s, she becomes a strong force to be reckoned with and gains acceptance in herself. She beats the bullies, It, and her sick father.

(An additional song for her might be Frozen’s, “Let it Go.”)

I honestly don't understand why everyone's complaining about the ending. I actually liked the part where they adopted the pomeranian.

Honestly, I watched the second It movie last night and I’ve already deemed it a national treasure. The chemistry between all of the actors was the exact same as their younger counterparts. It absolutely did not disappoint. I want to touch up on a couple things:
Warning spoilers ahead
  • The ending absolutely hurt my soul. The fact that at some point, Richie had to drive home, after facing all of his fears, losing Stanley; his best fucking friend, then having Eddie; the man who he’s loved for the last (probably) 30 years, bloodshed all over him and then having said person holding onto him as Eddie was dying is just to much to bare. Richie literally has to go home empty handed with only memories and it just devastates me. Everyone else got positive endings. Bill got a different perspective on things (finally wrote a good ending) and absolutely no harm came to his wife. Ben finally got the girl, the object of his affection for years. Beverly got to be loved unconditionally, without measure, by a man that treats her like a princess. And Mike got to get away from that hellhole town. If you really think about it, the only one who did not get a happy ending was Richie. He absolutely did not deserve losing two of the closest people to him.
  • Also, I think a there was a huge parallel in the first and second movie that I’ve noticed no ones really touched up on. In the first movie, at the very end, the Losers gather around Bill, whose (finally) suffering the loss of Georgie. Bill’s practically holding onto Georgie’s yellow rain jacket for dear life. He’s absolutely broken and is probably the most in need of the comfort his friends are giving him. At the end of the second movie, the remaining Losers end up holding onto Richie, whose breaking down completely, mourning the loss of Eddie. Unlike with Bill, how all of the Losers were completely serious, they tried to find comedic relief for Richie, because his way of getting over things has always been through comedy. If that isn’t friendship, I don’t know what else is. 💗
  • Finally, for those of you who believe Richie’s love for Eddie was one sided, you’re completely delusional. There’s so many other posts to support the couple as cannon. As well as the book. I’m not even going to get into it myself, because I just don’t have the time to write every single point.
Ps. It literally looked like Lord Voldemorts last form after they bullied him to death.
Just had to end the post on a semi-positive note.
