The Free Comic Book Day preview of BARDA!
cyberfrot
Two trucks having wrecks
the way i laughed
Found my 53yo very-much-not-online father in the kitchen today meticulously arranging cutlery on the countertop and i was like 'what are you doing' and he looked up at me with the world's most shit-eating grin and said "Your mother told me this is how you rick-roll the Youth" and i looked over and it was fucking. Loss.jpg.
i must stress that he's never seen the original comic. My mother simply showed him the shorthand symbol and he memorized it. As far as he is aware this is just a fucking hieroglyph that deals instant psychic damage to everyone under the age of 30
remember all those people who were always going "noo! don't ne mean to the cute doggo! the little pupper!"?
...yeah... we were telling you.
Reblog if you stand against order, civilization, and goodness itself
May the fourth be with you.
and also some money
Kent State University
“The Kent State shootings (also known as the May 4 massacre or the Kent State massacre)[3][4][5] were the shootings on May 4, 1970 of unarmed college students by members of the Ohio National Guard at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio during a mass protest against the bombing of Cambodia by United States military forces. Twenty-eight guardsmen fired approximately 67 rounds over a period of 13 seconds, killing four students and wounding nine others, one of whom suffered permanent paralysis.[6][7]”
“There was a significant national response to the shootings: hundreds of universities, colleges, and high schools closed throughout the United States due to a student strike of 4 million students,[10] and the event further affected public opinion, at an already socially contentious time, over the role of the United States in the Vietnam War.[11]”
Student strike of 4 million students! Let’s do that again lol
Don’t forget that basically half the country thought the students deserved it…
Another picture from Kent State.
But it was not just Kent State, eleven days later Mississippi Police fired 150 rounds into a dormitory at Jackson State College, killing 2 and wounding 15 black protesters.
die
Just a friendly reminder
"Idiots to lovers" works best when the idiots in question are extremely intelligent
Actually huge fan of how Dracula Daily is considered a time loop on here but it's not a tragic one (besides Quincy and Lucy RIP). There's the horrors of the story, there are many losses, but it ends with healing and joy. It's a story we keep telling over and over but not because we're desperate for it not to end in tragedy, rather because we know if we see it through to the end it will end well.
