I still pack up my feelings. I leave no traces of ever having felt anything and I pack it up tightly so that nothing will burden you with having met me. I gave up when I witnessed your interest in me wither before anything started. I will abandon our friendship for now to ensure everything is packed tightly. In the space of time I hoped that a relationship would blossom I was truly happy, you brought the feeling of giddy joy back to me and even though it was only for a moment, it made me more grateful to have met you. Thank you for the moments of joy. Approach me when your ready and I will welcome you not as a crush but as a genuine friend.

I don't want walking on eggshells around your emotions because you don't know how to communicate your needs. I don't want someone who gets angry every time they have to be transparent with me. I don't want to do mental gymnastics to figure out what went wrong every time the energy changes. I don't want someone who gets stuck in mean spaces.

I don’t have much but I’m grateful for the little I do have , I wish I could do more and I hope to find a better job after surgery and recovery. I’ve been able to make life work and every-time I feel like I won’t make it, God makes a way and I can’t thank heaven enough for having mercy on me.

I try to remind myself that trouble doesn’t last always and that I’m trying to do my best, to the best of my abilities.

One day , things will get better I just have to keep one foot in front of the striving towards better.

To the blog that turned 12 years old today , finding you as a teenager saved my life and I have hid some of my darkest moments and most vulnerable thoughts within you. You have grieved with me , you have suffered with me , you have grown with me and you have healed with me. You were the sanctuary I needed when I found you and even now 12 years later you are my safest place. Thank you so much for letting me hide within you and flourish into who I am now. You constantly help me crawl my way out of darkness and hold my secrets safe when I cry. Truly I wouldn’t be standing without you , you saved my life. Here’s to 12 years and hopefully 12 more. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
