Fandom Problem #4908:

To those who senselessly bully actors for not being political enough for you, or because they say 1 thing that you don't like, or for not being a good enough voice actor, or because they have a different religion then yours, or because they happen to love their country while you clearly hate yours, or for literally any other ridiculous reason that teenagers on this site use to be bullies, to the point where they start having depression issues or even start feeling suicidal...

You are all horrific people who should have their internet access restricted until you can learn how to behave. These are actual people with lives and jobs that they work hard at. Didn't your parents ever teach you about respect and manners?!

Not liking something doesn't mean it has no artistic value. A big part of art is about eliciting emotions from people. That even includes emotions like anger, disgust, and confusion. That includes everything from the "ugly and annoying" cartoon you hate, to a book's graphic depiction of sexual assault, to a canvas hanging up in a museum that's just been painted a solid color.

why would you like media that is good if you can like media that is bad instead and pace around your room like an insane person thinking about What If It Was Good

Just because you personally don't like the character doesn't mean it's automatically bad LGBTQ+ rep.

Normalized having your own fanon verse, without having to shit on canon or anyone politely disagreeing with fanon.

I don't hate canon, but I'm one of those people that needs some personal space cause the fanbase either can't agree on anything or INSIST that something about canon is nefarious because of personal feelings. It makes enjoying parts of canon exhausting. Take the thing you love maybe make up your own stuff, mash em together, however, you want.

No need to be angry when it's not canon, nor do you need to put up with people saying to you "It'll never be canon" it really should not have to be a battle. I get it when a favorite character feels personal but you know, sometimes I think it's healthy to just play around with different ideas regardless if people like those ideas or not. idk if I'm making any sense but that's my overall thought process due to recent observations that I've had.

When people blame capitalism for things that definitely aren't capitalism.
