Greetings, Hello, and Everything Else!
A lot has been going on this year that has been so far out of my control, I can’t even begin to explain everything. Health, changes to my bank’s policies, and small unexpected emergencies have caused many huge upsets that have taken up most of my attention this year, and caused my husband and I to have to make some choices in what we put our money into. Unfortunately, since things were slow for me at the time (I barely break even during the summer as it is), we couldn’t afford to put any money into my business. We had to make huge cuts in household bills, including cutting off certain ‘luxury’ accounts that we were able to do without.
The ultra short version is that between my husband and I, we were barely making $1000 a month. With my shop operating at a loss during the summer, and money as tight as it was, I had to shut down. With the shop down, I stopped paying attention to the social media attached to it as well. I’m currently in the process of getting everything sorted out so I can reopen properly. Part of this process involves a streamlining of my social media, so I can spend less time on it, and more time where it needs to be spent. This blog is a sideblog, and because Tumblr is dumb, sideblogs lack certain features necessary to what I need to do. I will no longer be using this blog, though I will not be taking it down. @madxstitcher is the new blog. And since it’s a primary blog, I’ve been able to attach various other accounts to it, and can use it with other sites. I’ll be posting over there from this point forward.
I have a lot of work to do to get everything back to fully-operational. Please bear with me while I do this.
