Ada had probably been working with people and men for YEARS WHERE THEY FUCKED HER OVER OR MADE IT SO SHE COULDN'T TRUST THEM. the fact that she's also still so untrusting of Luis in re4r makes me think that she's still like that.

and like also she has NO REASON TO TRUST LEON. when she's in the garbage thing and actually just stuck there, i do wonder about what she would've done if leon didn't show up. i think she was secretly hoping that he would. and when he does she kinda can't believe it. that a person like leon exists and that he's shown her kindness that she feels like she doesn't deserve. especially since she knew what she still needed to do with her job.

ada's literally so independent but her greatest weakness has always been leon. she fell so hard for his goofy fuckign ass but also his heart.

when she says that "he hasn't changed, you just think you have," he still has a heart. he's like >:| gr i'm a tough man act is that, an act. he's projecting his feelings into anger instead of his neverending inner strength to get his main objection done, which is to save ashley. he's still going to save people at the risk of himself. he'll put others first before himself, every single time.

even with saving ada, leon will take that chance every time.
