The Universe is Expanding

I’ve gotten a bunch of new followers lately, so I want to point some things out (and I’ll pin this post).

I’m Liz, I’m in my 40s (I don’t update my age all the time because I got bored). I identify as cis and queer or lesbian. I spent a lot of my life just thinking I was a bad straight person before I realized I was queer at 35 (I used to be married to a dude). I’m a white person committed to abolition and I live in Los Angeles.

I’ve been in the 1D fandom since January 2015, and I’ve always been a Larrie. And that means I believe Harry and Louis are together and that none of the stunts are real. Oh, I also believe OT4 will return although who knows when.

More than anything, I believe in curating your internet experience. I don’t take following or unfollowing personally. I’m not for everyone. And everyone is not for me.

This is a really long 18 months.

I went to a family event. Much of my extended family and my parents have very very Trump voting republican politics.

I am queer AF.

The event was at my aunt’s house and she had made rainbow table cloths on purpose to say, I’m here for you even when some of these folks may not be.

I almost cried.

I tell you this because sometimes people surprise you. Sometimes in the places we least expect it.

In this coming season of 5/5 doing things, I’d like to just point out that it was a lot easier when they released music and toured as One Direction.
