This fic is dark and I'm not sure why it came out, since it seems like the first chapter rather than a one shot. // Words: 1150 // Pairing: light f!mc x Tobias, acor MC x Antony (implied) // implied age gap relationship.

@boneandfur I've missed your writing! You have such a unique way with words. And although your fics are about known characters, the characters and stories stand on their own. You don't need to be into the story or pairing at all to enjoy them because they are their own thing.

Come into a fandom late. Leave early. Write 100 fics. Write 1. Write none. Read every single fic written in your fandom. Read only your OTP. Write only your OTP. Write every pairing under the sun. Make gifs just for your friends. Make gifs to share with everyone. Make art. Make nothing.

Cheerlead from afar and keep to yourself. Join a groupchat. Yell about headcanons with your friends. Leave kudos. Leave comments. Make fic recs. Bookmark everything. Read or watch and then forget it.

Treat canon like gospel. Treat canon like a dumpster fire. Only read/write/art coffeeshop AUs. Decide your corner will be all hurt no comfort. Decide your corner  will be all fluff no angst.

Fandom isn't one size fits all, and there is no one right way to do it. So find what works for you, and don't worry about all of the outside noise. It doesn't matter how everyone else does fandom.

Stop being afraid of sounding too cringe, or too stupid, or too horrifying, or too horny, or too weird, or too much, or too little, or too you. You need to put your entire pussy into your art. Sure, it won't be to everyone's tastes, but if you keep yourself to the blandest tamest safest roads possible you will be of no one's tastes, not even yours.

I won't finish it, but I sobbed while doodling these two. I am training so hard, and suddenly, I end up drawing this, and after all the "meh" stuff I do and the tens of drawings I never post because they are worse, this one that I love happens.

Also, sobbing because my headcanon is that Riley is much older than Maxwell, and despite their age gap he is hopelessly in love. She wants him, but she is torn between him and her feelings for the prince.
