Neil repaying his debt to Jean by beating Riko. Neil touching his foot to Jean’s to ground him on more than one occasion. Him immediately ordering a hit on Grayson after receiving just a hint of what he’d done to Jean. Neil reminding Jean that Elodie too was a Moreau and that Jean is worth saving. I just can’t do it.

Neil got his unhinged, mental, bullshit-spewing mouth from his mama. Stuart was in the book for all of 4 pages in tsc and was just as blunt, unfiltered, making the same off the wall comments his nephew does. shit runs in the family clearly

Been seeing some stuff about how tsc is "plotless" and lemme just say, it IS. It is plotless but that's not a bad thing. Aftg seemed more happening because it was about dealing. Neil still had to deal with his father, still had to deal with the Moriyamas, had a psychopath hellbent on hurting him and everyone he cared about.

Tsc is nothing like that. It's about healing. Jean's not running from actual, physical threats but from his own trauma. That is not a bad thing. If it's not your cup of tea, fine but please don't shit on the work and say it's "plotless" or "bad". The plot is Jean healing, Jean learning to live and exist beyond the clutches of the Nest.
