Rules for Asks

My last post makes me think I should add some rules in case I get more asks for characters (pls send me some, don't be shy!)

Warning!! This post will contain mentions of assault, abuse, major character death and dd/lg

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Things I will do:
- Nsfw (implied and full on smut)
- Sfw
- Fluff
- Angst/hurt&comfort
- CNC ONLY with a before mentioned relationship before the characters. I will not write scenes where it's not something discussed or hinted at before hand (i.e. between strangers).
Things I will NOT do:
- R@pe and assault
- Abuse from asked characters (mention of abusive family, and asked character coming in to save you is fine. But I will NOT write any sort of explicit sexual abuse, it makes me personally very uncomfortable)
- Where the comfort character being written for dies (I may do requests where their S/O dies)
- DD/LG
I can't think of more rn, but as I get more asks and have more time to think, these lists may grow.
i think if you're going to complain about "problematic queer representation" in media you have to clarify what type of problematic you're talking about. is the bisexual character implied to be only "doing it for attention" or perpetuating homophobic stereotypes? yeah, you have a point, that's not great. is the lesbian "problematic" because she eats people? oh no that's fine, lesbians are allowed to do that if they want
maidens if you are going to flee dramatically from my castle in the middle of the night once i reveal my true nature to you please leave your candelabra on the little ledge by the portcullis we are running out of them
starting to think these maidens are stumbling in soaked through from the rain just to steal my beautiful gowns and homewear are any of you actually lost
At the checkout in Home Goods loading the belt with nothing but candelabras in all shapes & sizes while the cashier watches sympathetically and asks if it’s the maidens again
make a left at the evil forest and take the first exit at the roundabout by the inn where the villagers warn you to turn back. then it's straight over the moor from there. if you hear the ghostly wailing coming through the mist you're going the right way
I could cut back to survive on 10K a month, I've done it before. I would probably collect one, maybe two months at 14hrs/day before, uh, dying. I've done those. A month, when I was in my twenties, ruined me. I was simply never suited to BigLaw.
I don't want a direct sequel to the DnD movie
I want more DnD movies with the same cast, but they play totally different characters every time, except for Xenk, who is the only recurring character in the entire franchise
the japanese “-ne?” particle and the british slang term “innit” serve the same function
Standard English: It’s cold, isn’t it?
Japanese: Samui desu ne?
British: It’s fuckin’ freezin’, innit?
i have to do everything around here
i hate this cause i did japanese for like a year and this explains the use of the -ne particle WAYYYY better than my teachers ever did. it took me ages to comprehend what this post makes abundantly clear.
my teachers: its like a, a little rise at the end of a sentence, to show that you are seeking a response, while not warranting the -ka particle which would make it a proper question.
me: ok. i guess i get that??
this post: its like saying “innit?”
me: oh. oh no.
fun fact: afaik, "-ne" was inherited from the Portuguese settlers/priests that stayed in Japan in the 16th century. It comes from "né?", which the contraction of "não é?", "isn't it?".
It's LITERALLY "innit".
oh so like "eh" in canadian
I miss my boyfriend. After he's left for the day, even after spending so much time together. I can never get enough.
I need more.
More of his touch. More of his attention. More of his laughter and voice. More of his smell. More of him. I need him like I need air.
After he leaves, great happiness is filled with a sadness almost just as big. When he leaves, it's like my sun goes away. Yes I will live. But I live to see my sun rise when he returns.
