Tried so hard to stay up last night for the comeback but I was so tired,, watched tiktoks to pass the time and watched the comeback live,, then fell asleep like 15 minutes before they played Glitch Mode I’m so ✋😔 woke up like 30 minutes later and watched it though, so hHhHhh I really wanted to watch it right when it came out though :’)

You and Jeno are sat side by side, a laptop placed on the table in front of you as a video plays.

“Can you hear it?” Jeno shakes his head no after taking a moment to listen, and you laugh since he’s been sitting there for a while now. You then take an earbud and gently place it into his ear, Jeno tilting his head for it to be easier for you. His head has been lolling sleepily, and he finally moves to rest it on your shoulder. Your heart skips a beat, or maybe two, and you smile softly as butterflies burst in your stomach. You both have been on the cusp of something, but nothing much has really happened to push you into dating. So as you pull the blanket over your legs a little further and try to adjust his positioning, you lean down to press a kiss to his chin, smiling when he scoots closer to you and let’s you lean your head against his.

“I’m going to play some music, alright?” He doesn’t object, so you move to put on some softer music to help him fall asleep. Jeno seems to know one of the songs though, and he sings bits and pieces of it in his half awake state. You think it’s endearing, especially when he starts to pat your leg softly and tries to serenade you. His words are almost a whisper, and he sounds so tired he could fall asleep. It isn’t until Jeno has gone quiet that you look down to see his eyes closed and his chest rising and falling in even breaths, your hand intertwining with his as you try to keep still. Once he stirs and starts to wake up again, you gently shake him and turn off the music.

“Let’s get you to bed, ok?” Jeno hums, still leaning against you, and slowly gets up to trail after you with his hand still in your own. You help tuck him into bed, smiling when he doesn’t seem to want to let you go, and press a kiss to his cheek before leaving his room while feeling the most giddy you’ve ever felt.
