The wind was getting colder by the day, long gone were the days of shorts and tanktops, her freckles were leaving her face, ready to visit again next year. The trees were changing color around them and she has started to steal Percy’s hoodies. Annabeth loved fall but not as much as she loved Percy Jackson.

Kick To The Face
Hey! This is a short story I’ve had in my head for ages. This one involves my OC’s Tyler and Ashe and a training accident. I honestly love these two so much, they mean the world to me. I hope you guys can give this story a chance as well. Cheers!
“Don’t just stand there! Keep moving!” Ami’s voice called out as she set down her water bottle.
Across the mat, Tyler grunted in response. “I’m trying! It’s not exactly easy.” He replied, bringing both of his arms up to block another kick from Ashe. Stepping back, he managed to avoid Ashe’s follow up kick, before quickly running to the side.
Ashe followed through with her motion, her eyes locked on Tyler’s as she stared at him intently, never leaving him despite her spin. Gracefully, as if she was dancing, she sprung up from the kick and dashed after Tyler. Quickly over taking him, she planted her foot and spun around again, delivering a powerful kick towards his chest.
Tyler managed to raise his guard in time, but he slid back a foot from the sheer impact of the blow. He raised his arms to follow up, but Ashe feinted and landed a clean punch in his side, making him stagger a bit.
He let out a wheeze of air, and saw Ashe’s hands hesitate for just a moment. Her eyes betrayed concern, and almost regret. She was practically using him as a punching bag, and she hated it more than he did.
“Keep pressuring, Ashe!” Ami barked out an order, her voice eerily level.
“Yes Ma'am!” Ashe replied, quickly delivering two low kicks to Tyler’s legs before she spun around and delivered a heavy one to his side.
