Eyebrows raised in surprise as Billy watched his stepsister’s wild movements, entirely amused by this side of her. When she started singing as loudly as possible, he covered his hands with his ears and made a face, clearly teasing her. ❝ I can’t dance when you’re screeching is drowning out the music ! ❞ Billy hadn’t felt this carefree in ages. Even before the Upside Down and before the Mind Flayer, he always felt the need to keep his guard up at all times. In the freedom of their living room, though, he found that he finally didn’t give a fuck. The vodka helped, of course. Going to the TV, he turned up the volume, then let the rhythm overtake him as he danced, blonde curls whipping around his face.
Rolling her eyes playfully, Valerie stopped singing and just began to dance to her favourite song like it was the last time she’d every hear it. It had become a rare occurrence for Valerie to let her hair down after everything that had happened to her and her family over the last few years but it honestly felt amazing to be herself. It also made her happy to see her stepbrother let himself go and have fun, he deserved it more than any of them in her opinion. “Look at you go!” She exclaimed as she stopped dancing and gestured with her hands to what he was doing, a giggle leaving her lips. She watched him for a minute before joining back in and moving to the rhythm, long auburn tresses swaying as she did.

Folding her legs beneath her, Valerie reached out and took hold of both of Sharona’s hands to give them a gentle squeeze. The redhead had been having a rough day and just wanted to have a relaxing evening with her best friend which was exactly what was happening much to her relief. A kind smile crossed her features as she kept hold of the blonde’s hands.
“Have I reminded you how beautiful you are recently, ‘Rona?”

Taking a deep breath, Valerie stepped off of the bus she had ridden all the way from the airport to Hawkins. She had been gone for the entire summer to visit her father in California and though she was reluctant to return, she had people that meant a lot to her waiting for her. She had checked up on Max everyday but that wasn’t the person on her mind in that moment. Blue eyes lit up once she set eyes on her favourite darkhaired man and she broke into a full on sprint. Dropping her bags as soon as she got to him, Val flung her arms around Evan’s neck and planted a loving kiss on his lips, letting it linger for several seconds before pulling back to look at him.
“I missed you, my pretty boy.”

Arms crossed over her chest, the redhead regarded the blonde with an almost cool gaze. This wasn’t unusual for Valerie considering she had pretty much closed herself off to everyone after what had happened that year and she had taken on the role of cheer captain, throwing herself into the position the way Chrissy would’ve wanted. She couldn’t recall a memorable moment with the other female so this would be interesting for her, she liked a surprise.
“You gonna pick up those pompoms or are you not here to try out for the squad?”

so... umm... hi... i’m alive... i’ve been thinking about val a lot since i just finished watching the second season of fate and she’s literally everywhere. if i was to come back, would anyone be interested in interacting..? i still have a lot going on so i might be slow but i’d like to be here again.
im gonna be putting val on hiatus for now and my other two girls will be low activity as ive gotten back into something i used to love and its taking a lot of my time up <3
i’m gonna try to get through at least a couple of my drafts and i might queue them to keep the activity up on this blog, i’m sorry for not being around too much.

He threw another piece of burnable junk onto the fire, people were always dumping stuff around the trailer park, so when Eddie had decided that the symbolic burning of bridges should become something more, it had taken him literally minutes to scavenge enough stuff to do so. Now there was a bright fire burning on the outskirts of the trailer park, and they were toasting marshmallows.
“your illustrious captain.”
Val settles into his lap and he wraps her up in his arms and oversized hoodie, plying her cheek and jaw with kisses as he nuzzles in closer.
“I don’t.. I don’t mind being given a hard time if it means people give enough of a shit about you not to want to see you get hurt. You’ve got friends who love you, and this is not something to be taken for granted.”
valerie had been sat happily in his trailer before she had smelt the fire and had come out to investigate in one of his hoodies and a pair of biker shorts . once she ‘ d found him , she ‘ d ran back inside to get some marshmallows after he had suggested they use the fire to make some smores . it hadn ‘ t taken long before they were settled beside the fire with eddie in val ‘ s arms .

red tinted brows furrowed as she began to run one hand through his hair while the other fiddled with the shirt he was wearing , leaning into the kisses that were making her cheeks flush .
❝ what did she say to you and why ? i get that she cares about me but she has a lot more to worry about than whether you ‘ re gonna hurt me or not . i hate when people try to worm their way into our perfect world , it makes me angry ... ❞

So I did an edit to see what Billy would look like if he had natural long hair instead of a mullet and I ended up with a combination between 2014 Harry Styles and Jesus Christ:

valerie was sat eating her smore with one hand as she played with eddie ‘ s hair with the other , her boyfriend settled between her legs . her brows furrowed at his words and she swallowed her mouthful before wiggling around so she was now sat in his lap instead of behind him . ❝ excuse me , what ?! by who ? why would anyone even think to say that to you ? i ‘ m sorry , baby . ❞
i’ve now added an older verse and a little expansion onto the mamma mia verse with the use of bryce dallas howard as her fc.
OLDER VERSE
valerie graduated from highschool in 1986 despite everything that had happened that year. she continued to take care of max as she recouperated and she got herself a job at a local diner so that she could support them alongside their mother. once max finally graduated, the two sisters made the decision to move back to california where the younger would attend college. unbeknownst to her, their father had saved enough money for the both of them to go to college. she was reluctant to accept the money since she was 21 but she decided to take the opportunity and she went to ucla alongside her sister. she majored in history.
once she had completed her degree, valerie decided to pursue a career as a high school history teacher. she worked at a few different schools over the years before she was offered a job at hawkins high. she didn't know if she wanted to go back to that hellhole but she couldn't say she didn't miss the friends she had made while she lived there. after some thought, she moved back to hawkins and took up the post.
