I know people are being shown right now that voting does not fix everything, so some people might be feeling despair and wondering why we even bother to vote. Often the Democrats we vote in are still imperfect. But that does not make voting less important. We must still vote, and then we must HOLD THOSE DEMOCRATS ACCOUNTABLE TO THEIR CONSTITUENTS. Both political actions are important!! An crappy Democrat in office leaves much to be desired but is still miles better than a Republican, so we must ensure that Republicans do not win. 

It has been suggested that you hold off donating to Amy McGrath’s campaign until after the Kentucky primary (on June 23rd) because she might be, uh, rather less than ideal. - _ -  (Certainly a better person to have in the senate than McConnell, but then, a flaming dog turd would be better for us than McConnell.) I was pointed in Charles Booker’s direction as the democrat running against McConnell to consider supporting, but I’m not sure how helpful donations are going to be with only one week left until the primary, so we might be better off saving our donations until we see who wins the democratic primary in Kentucky.

No no no no no, donate to Charles Booker now. He needs it now more than ever!

McGrath has basically scammed her way into millions from people across the country by preemptively declaring herself the candidate and using McConnell as a foil rather than Booker. McGrath's money is 85-90% from out of state, Booker got his from instate.

McGrath hasn't been anywhere near the protests in Louisville, which is not only where Booker is from but where he's been on the streets with the people! When she was asked why she refused to attend the protests, first she said she had a "family matter" then said it was because she was afraid of Corona in the same sentence.

When McGrath put out a statement on police brutality, she didn't mention Breonna Taylor or David McAtee, both of whom were killed by cops in Kentucky and sparked those very protests.

She's running as "better for Trump's agenda" than Mitch McConnell who she says is obstructing Trump. She's running as a Democrat who better for Trump than the Republican Senate Majority Leader. Booker has Bernie's Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, AOC, and local papers on his side, McGrath has Chuck Schumer and dark money groups.

Do. Not. Support. Amy. McGrath.

Support. Charles. Booker.

And while I'm at, Hickenlooper also hasn't won his primary yet, either. Not only that, but he was just held in contempt for refusing to show at a hearing where he was charged with two counts of violating corruption laws while governor. Andrew Romanoff, his primary opponent, won the state caucus overwhelmingly and has the instate energy. Hickenlooper is being proped up by the DSCC.

Shame on @liberalsarecool for putting a up graphic like this up. Hickenlooper and McGrath are both incredibly flawed candidates that would likely lose totally winnable races, both of whom are still in primaries against more competent progressives. Neither of them are the official candidate yet and acting like they are is dishonest at best.

A lot can change in a week. Just last month Charles Booker was down by 50% to McGrath, now he's within single digits. Romanoff is going back and forth with Hickenlooper. They can absolutely win this if they get the energy behind them now. Like right now. Now is exactly the time. One of the main reasons Bernie lost is the exact "well I guess it's too late better not try" defeatist attitude.
