I know this is a Calzona blog, but I need to vent about MerDer.

First off, I am SO beyond pissed at Shonda. I feel like the story line was half-assed and that not a lot of consideration was put into it. Let’s talk about the flaws: There were NO cars on the road the WHOLE time Derek was trying to save those people and then, right as he is getting ready to leave, a truck comes out of nowhere? Okay…Shonda. Okay. 

Secondly, I am aware that Derek being killed off may have something to do with Patrick Dempsey and his wish to no longer be on the show. I just wish they would have let him go in a more thought out, considerate way. Shonda has done A LOT to the Grey’s fandom in the past eleven years, but for some reason… This has made me the angriest. I’m sad to say that, without Cristina and now no Derek, Grey’s may not last any longer. :(

I think Season 12 is the last

Season 12 will be it. And quite honestly, if they want to keep viewers, they better have a damn good trick up their sleeve. Something like… Bringing back Cristina when Mer needs her most. That’s about the only thing that will lure me back in. Having the twisted sisters.

I read an article where Shonda said that the show will continue and while I think it will continue at least until season 12 (because people will genuinely be interested in how the show will operate without McDreamy... no pun intended ;) ),I don’t see it continuing much longer after that. :( I think season 12 is definitely the last.
