alexei would have been lying if he had said he hadn’t spent the majority of the night staring someone from across the club. despite avery’s encouragement toward him to approach the other, he decided to keep his distance as much as possible. instead, he watched the other dance with strangers and was completely entranced by the way his body moved. god, he would have done anything to feel that body grinding against his own. feeling a strike of boldness, he decided to approach the other and shoot his shot. if he got rejected, he could go drown his sorrows in soju. his teeth sunk into his bottom lip as he stepped up behind him, “so… tell me what i have to do to get you to dance with me for at least five minutes. do i need to cast a love spell or do you think i’m impressive on my own?” he chuckled softly.

jongin couldn’t count the amount of people he decided to dance with -- didn’t see the point in it. he was simply moving across the entire space and dancing with anyone who would have him. it was thrilling to get into the space of strangers, to find out how they moved and what they smelled like and if they were nervous or not. he was unaware of anyone watching him until someone spoke up, a cocky smirk coming to jongin’s lips as he turned his head to catch a glimpse of the other. he was incredibly cute and brave. “love spell? don’t you know those don’t really work,” he teased with a wink before leaning back to allow his body to move against the stranger’s, his head tipping back to reveal his neck and rest his head on the other. “you’re very impressive -- a very good, brave boy. i’ll dance with you all night long if you can handle it,” he teased, a hand reaching back to run along the other’s thigh.

the last time catherine had seen kyungsoo wasn’t exactly the happiest of times, the girl having dragged him home against his own will. despite her actions, cat had no intention of harming the other. not after he had gallantly saved her from some asshole at the club who was getting a bit too handsy with her. he was proof that good men in this immoral world still existed and yet she had probably ruined everything for herself. she spent the majority of the night watching him from afar, unsure whether or not she should approach him. when she finally decided to make a move, she pretended to bump into him and slip into a nonchalant facade. “kyungsoo-yah, it’s… good to see you.” she bit down on her bottom lip as she stared up at him with puppy dog eyes. “you’re not still mad at me for what i did, are you? i was hoping we could put that behind us and just have fun tonight.”

kyungsoo was forever wary of clubs since the time he’d run into cat -- she was someone you could never forget. but, he was somehow convinced to come along with a few other as the designated driver, which was something he hated but knew was necessary. he was sipping on soda when he felt someone bump into him, his breath catching in his throat as he immediately recognized who it was. he felt goosebumps appear across his skin. “catherine…” he said softly, trying to keep himself composed through a sigh. “that was a bit extreme, you know? it’s a bit hard to put that behind me.” he still had dreams about it. still, there was something inside him that made him want to give her that chance. what if she’d made a mistake? a huge one,  but a mistake all the same. she could be changed. he glanced around for a moment as he thought. “okay. i will only give you this one chance. if i end up getting knocked out mysteriously, i don’t think anything will work out between us,” he said, laying down his conditions. he knew this was probably all going to end in trouble regardless.

blood lust had completely consumed sunni, to the point the young vampire hadn’t taken notice of the fact he was no longer alone with the human he had cornered. his eyes were a darkened crimson hue as he lazily glanced up at whoever had decided to ruin his feeding session. though the moment his gaze locked on the other who stood before him, he could have sworn his breath caught in his throat. he clumsily wiped any traces of blood from his mouth with the back of his hand before speaking, “would you like a turn?” he asked, gesturing to the human that laid practically limp in his arms. “i’m not usually one for sharing but you’re far too pretty to refuse.”

tao’s eyes drank in the sight of another feeding from someone, entranced. he wasn’t sure if he wanted to be the vampire or to be the poor soul being fed from -- both were equally as enticing. he walked up casually, not wanting to be abrupt with his interruption. the way the blood smeared on the other’s lips before he wiped it away gave tao pleasant goosebumps. his smirk was small but present as he leaned down to catch the other’s lips with his own, tongue dipping into his mouth to taste the lingering traces of blood. “thank you,” he said as he pulled away. “but, it always tastes better after someone else has tasted it first. your taste makes it so much sweeter. i would share with you if this is how you would share with me.”

the rave wasn’t something too surprising to yixing considering he now lived in a coven with a few of them. what did surprise him was the sheer amount in attendance and how freely some of them chose to feed off of others. he was sure he would have to provide some sort of healing assistance to someone before the night was through, only hoping that no one would catch onto his particular specialization and ask him for too much. he was folding a piece of thick paper he’d brought with him meant to be made into a quick and easy charm to ward off any negative spirits that may have wandered in with someone when the paper cut his thumb as he was creating a crease. he winced slightly as he looked down at the blood bubbling to the surface before he felt eyes on him. he looked up to see someone close by staring. they must have seen what had happened or smelled the blood, he thought. he paused for a moment before licking at the blood on his thumb while staring at the other. when he pulled his hand from his mouth, he rose a brow at the other and offered the injured digit out as an invitation.

having someone depend on him so much was strangely satisfying for jin, even if he didn’t normally enjoy having responsibilities. this was different. “savory it is then,” he couldn’t help but smile at the honorific once more. it was so hard to conceal the way it made him feel. “i don’t mind sharing with you, i’ve been trying to watch my figure lately anyway.” the joys of working as a model. he stepped forward toward the counter, not minding that tao remained so close to him. he ordered galbi, deciding that would be the safest bet when it came to a certain level of savoriness. once the order was finished being placed, he turned to tao once more. “let’s grab a seat.” he began to lead him over toward one of the many open tables in the shop. 

tao eagerly listened to the other order, hoping to pick up both the words and ease that came with doing so. he hated feeling so helpless and knew he had to be a burden on jin. he was already planning on one day returning the favor somehow -- possibly taking the other out to a high end restaurant and ordering for him to show that he could be independent and grateful all that the male had done for him. he followed jin to one of the tables, sitting down and thankful he didn’t have to interact with anyone else now. “thank you. one day i won’t need you,” he said before shaking his head. “ah, i didn’t mean to make that sound weird. i will always need you, but i will be able to do all this for myself and for you,” he clarified, smiling awkwardly. he hated this. he was so much more confident in mandarin, but he would never force jin to learn the language just for him. “you are very special to me. i want to give you anything to say thank you.”

yian chuckled as he rolled his eyes in spite of the other, he was far too cocky for his own good. “you can take it as whatever you wish,” he muttered. though his attention was quick to redirect itself the moment he saw jongin begin to fuss with the crop top he was wearing, the exposed skin practically taunting him. he felt his mouth dry out as he continued to stare, hands itching to reach out and touch. why don’t you stop holding out? that was a good question. maybe it was because he didn’t want jongin to win this little game they were somehow playing. yet he didn’t resist as the other guided his hands to touch him, a shiver running down his spine as he was told he could do anything he wanted. that was a dangerous thing to say when several different things were running through the boy’s mind. he allowed his fingernails to drag down jongin’s flesh, “you should be careful with what you say.” he allowed his hands to move upward and grab a fistful of the other’s hair, tugging it roughly. “i want to make a mess out of you, take revenge for all the times you’ve made me weak. i want to tease you until you’re crying and begging for me to let you come.”

the moment jongin felt the other’s fingernails against his flesh, he knew he had to be getting through -- breaking down that will that yian was so well known for. goosebumps easily and eagerly trailed behind the touch before he was caught by surprise by the sudden pull at his hair. the small yelp contrasted with the wide smile the graced jongin’s lips immediately afterwards. he felt like his whole body was tingling just from the forward touch and even more forward words. this was what jongin wanted, what he was practically begging for every time he was in a room with yian. “ah, but you’re so cute when you’re all weak for me, yian,” he mockingly cooed, wondering just how deeply into trouble he could force himself into. “i don’t beg and cry easily -- you would have to be really good for all that to happen,” he said, wetting his lips. his hand reached out to playfully scratch up the other’s thigh. “you already seem to know what you’re doing though. i like seeing you like this -- doing exactly what you want. i knew that look in your eyes would be so fucking hot.”

when jonghyun woke up, the last thing he expected to see on his sms feed was pictures of his boyfriend kissing someone else. tears almost instantly filled his eyes, but he wasn’t sure if they were out of anger or sadness. either way, he refused to let them fall. weakness was something he refused to ever show. when he finally decided to confront the other, the feelings of rage he harbored only amplified. “you told me that you were going out, not that you’d be fucking around with people who aren’t me. there’s a big difference there.” he snapped. “i don’t care about what i know, it’s about what people are thinking right now. you can’t even be open about our relationship and now there are pictures of you kissing people online. how do you think that makes me feel? i didn’t want to be your fucking secret forever, tao.”

tao’s jaw clenched as the other spoke, swallowing thickly. he knew he’d fucked up, but he figured if he acted like it wasn’t that big of deal, jonghyun would do the same. of course, that was probably one of the more dumb ideas tao had had in a while and was probably still tinted by some sort of intoxication in his system. at least, he wished that were the case. “i don’t want you to be a secret either, but you know what would happen if they all knew i was actually in a relationship. you can easily clean up an idol being drunk and having a good time, you can’t exactly do that same with a conscious, sober choice like you. everyone will forget this whole thing. they wouldn’t ever forget you ‘cause i’m not planning on losing you. it was a mistake. i’m sorry. but you aren’t a mistake. let me make it up to you somehow, please.”

open starter with: baekhyun. verse: supernatural plot: baek has decided to take your muse into his shared home -- partially as an experiment to see what would happen, partially because he’s fascinated with your muse.

“i told you you can walk around freely -- i didn’t say you could get close to anyone else here. you know they would probably kill you in a heartbeat, specifically yours,” baekhyun said after spotting the other talking to one of his many roommates. as much as he enjoyed the excitement of so many unique individuals living together, he did have problems with a good handful of them. and, when it came to the other, he had problems with all of them. he was possessive and the idea of the other getting close to anyone did not sit well with him. he was curious about how the other occupants would react to a new member of their makeshift regime, but he quickly found that he cared less about that and more about showing off the fact that he had a new companion. even if the other didn’t share the same feelings for baek as he did them, he still claimed them entirely as his and his alone. “they’re all mad, you know. some of them are cracking just because they’re old and don’t know how to handle all that weight. others are just plain weak. if you stay with me, you’ll be with the best of everyone here. soon, i’ll be the leader of this band of ghouls, and you can be my second,” he tempted.

a soft shushing noise passed jin’s lips as he leaned in closer to the other, pressing his lips against tao’s shoulder. this was a test to see how many boundaries he could knock down between them. there was always the chance that tao wasn’t interested in him in the same way that he was, but that was a risk he was willing to take. though if there was no desire there, he probably would have pushed him away already. he loosened his hold on the male’s wrists before moving to face tao, dealing out a gentle push so that he was backed into the wall behind him. “keep your hands behind your back for me. it’ll be a fun challenge.” there was a teasing lilt to his voice as he leaned in to frame tao’s face with his hands, capturing his lips in a delicate kiss.

tao could feel goosebumps form along his skin, able to hear his heartbeat in his ears. with the wall against his back, he kept his hands behind like jin told him to. it was hard to say no to someone who gave you butterflies any time they simply stepped into the room. however, a bout of dizziness overcame him the moment he felt jin’s lips against his own -- something he’d only daydreamed of. a soft, surprised yet satisfied sound escaped him as he leaned forward to press into the kiss even more. he needed this more that jin probably knew, and his hands were already slipping from his back to clutch onto jin’s shirt to pull him even closer. the rule had been so easily forgotten thanks to jin’s soft lips.

heechul couldn’t help but scoff at yixing’s less than convincing oblivious act, arching a brow slightly. “how stupid do you think i am? actually, don’t answer that.” he wasn’t going to press the matter. he figured that the other had his own personal reasons for not responding to his messages and he would have to force himself to respect them. especially if he didn’t want the other to walk out of his life completely. he wet his lips as he studied the other for a few moments, trying to decipher what was running through the idol’s head. admittedly, he was a little caught off guard when the accusation of him sleeping with other people was thrown around. sure, he had a habit of having the casual one stand with patrons in the past. but, he had been trying to turn a new leaf. “wow, you must really think highly of me.” he didn’t confirm nor deny the accusation, trying to hide how much it wounded him. he hadn’t been able to get the other out of his mind since they spent the night together. how could he even bother to sleep with someone else? “you also don’t give yourself nearly enough credit.” he murmured as he grabbed some of the top-shelf whiskey and two shot glasses. he poured two neat shots before sliding one in yixing’s direction. “geonbae,” he lifted the glass up before downing it in one go. 

yixing cringe as his words severely backfired on him. he’d meant for the comment about sleeping with other people better than himself to be a sort-of complement. but, in the end, he did have to admit that it sounded a bit bad. “i don’t think you’re stupid and i don’t think lowly of you. i’m just really bad at this,” he admitted with a sigh. he took the glass that was given to him and raised it before taking it smoothly down. admittedly, it was actually pretty impressive how easily heechul took the shot. but, there were a lot of impressive things about that other. he placed the glass back down carefully and slid it gently over to the other. “just one more, please,” he asked, knowing full well if he was going to continue being in the presence of the other he needed the liquid confidence. “i’m sorry -- things are just complicated,” he finally said, tone defeated. he knew that was probably the most cliche thing to say, but it didn’t make it any less true. he wasn’t going to outright say he was scared of having the other around for too long and get attached because he somehow knows he would lose heechul just as he lost every other thing he became attached to -- namely everyone and everything in his career. “i like you and you’re fun, but i’m just going to disappoint you.”

chanyeol didn’t necessarily consider himself as someone who was overly emotional, but there were definitely periods of time where he was more sensitive than usual. he hadn’t realized that he was in one of those states until he and his members were at dinner together, talking about kyungsoo’s military service. his shift in mood was more than obvious, having previously laughing and making jokes and now rendered almost silent. he was in a bit of a daze as he looked down at his phone, looking at his lockscreen which was set to a picture of both he and kyungsoo together. While they had admitted their feelings for one another, they hadn’t been able to deal with them before the other’s enlistment date. it left chanyeol wondering what could happen between them. it filled him with both an overwhelming sadness and a sense of longing. as he left the restaurant and began to make his way back to his apartment, he froze in his tracks. he was slowly crumbling, tears gathering in his eyes. he looked down at his phone before making the brazen decision to allow himself to hail a taxi and instruct the driver to head to the military housing he knew the other was staying at. When the vehicle came to a stop, he quickly paid the fare and hopped out. he headed up to the rather plain looking living quarters and knocked softly on the door, the door opening soon after. the moment he saw the other, he completely broke down crying. “kyungsoo-yah.” he sobbed.

kyungsoo knew that finally admitting how he felt about chanyeol right before enlistment would be both a good and bad thing. he didn’t know what would happen in those two years. sure, they would keep in contact, but chanyeol’s social life would go on without kyungsoo even being aware of it -- stuck to his own circle of military brotherhood. chanyeol could have found someone. and, as selfish as it was, kyungsoo didn’t want chanyeol to forget about him. so, he told him and he was off. he thought about that moment every day, hoping it didn’t hurt the other too much that they weren’t together. but, as he heard the strangely late knock and saw just who was on the other side, kyungsoo knew he probably did cause the tears that were pouring from the other’s eyes. “chanyeol? what-- what is it?” he asked, concern drawing his eyebrows in as he reached out to pull the other inside. he wrapped his arms tightly around the taller male without waiting for an answer, knowing it was something chanyeol needed -- the boy was horribly tactile. “it’s okay -- i’m right here. there’s no need to cry now. look at me,” he gently insisted, pulling back slightly only to frame chanyeol’s face with his hands and force him to look down at kyungsoo. “you’re going to be alright. as long as you’re with me, nothing is wrong. you understand?”
