You can’t make promises as a jujutsu sorcerer. You’ve learned this the hard way. Telling people — vowing to them — that you’ll protect them, that you’ll keep them safe is a waste of time. Swearing that you’ll come back alive and in one piece is a waste of time. Making any promises in this world, filled with so much blood and death and sorrow, is a complete and utter waste of time. You’ve lost too many friends and allies and complete strangers to believe anything else.
There’s blood pouring out of your nose and you can taste the iron tang on your tongue. You are almost certain that at least four ribs are broken and you’re bruised and scraped in more places than you can count.
This was supposed to be an easy exorcism, a low-grade curse in an abandoned warehouse down by the port so there’s minimal risk of casualties. You were sent out by yourself because of this but it’s clear that the information was incomplete because the minute you finished off that Grade Three curse, a much, much worse one slithered out of the shadows and sent you flying.
You barely manage to exorcize it, almost all your cursed energy is spent and you drag yourself out of the warehouse where Ijichi is waiting for you. He rushes to you just in time as you collapse. “Sorry,” you slur as he helps you lay down in the backseat of the car, passing out as soon as the engine rumbles to life.

Tips on making a carrd
-> it’s better to use a desktop (nothing wrong with using a phone, it’s just more accessible that ways)
-> definitely go through carrds on pinterest (linked my board.) before you start making one so that you have rough idea of what you like and eventually what you’d want your card to look like
-> before starting out on the carrd make sure you know what content you want in there. maybe write it down or type it out somewhere, it just saves time
-> youtube is your best friend when it comes to making a carrd. just search what you like over there and you’ll get so many options and tutorials. tbh blindly follow it and you’ll have a pretty carrd in front of you
-> don’t hesitate to explore your options and the features of the site, if you mess up there’s always the undo button!

night routine / yuuji

! i think the title doesn't really fit but i couldn't come up with something else lmao & not proof read, sorreh!
yuuji is currently in the bedroom, changing out of his clothes and into some sweat shorts and no shirt. he's like a heater and he's always hot, especially at night. he never sleeps with a shirt on, not that you have anything against it. you're in the bathroom finishing up your skincare routine when yuuji walks in, a very loud, over dramatic yawn leaving his mouth as he makes his way over to you. he pecks your cheek and starts brushing his teeth next to you. the both of you had a long and exhausting day so you're both very tired now but happy that you can finally go to bed and get some well deserved sleep. “what is that?” he asks, mouth full of toothpaste and spit when he watches you apply some cream to your face. “moisturizer.” “ah. can i have some too?” he asks, continuing to brush his teeth, his eyes never leaving your face as he watches you through the mirror. “sure. sit down.” you smile as you finish applying the moisturizer.
when yuuji finishes brushing his teeth he sits down on the toilet and watches you walk over to him and stand between his legs. he places his hands onto your hips under your shirt and softly traces circles into your skin. you grab his face into your hands, making him look up at you. he sends you a tired smile which you return and press a quick kiss to his forehead. you take the tube of moisturizer and squirt some of it onto the back of your hand, then dip your finger into it and apply a dot to yuuji’s forehead, the tip of his nose, each one of his cheeks and his chin. you start to gently rub it all over his face, into his skin. he lets out a small, content sigh and closes his eyes at the feeling of your soft fingertips working the cream into his skin. you already finished applying it but you notice him relaxing into your touch so you decide to keep going and slightly massage his face a little. you move your thumbs up to each of bis temples and gently rub them into his skin, massaging it. he tilts his head back a little, a small smile spreading onto his lips. “feels good?” you ask quietly and he replies with a soft hum and a small nod. “want me to keep going?” he thinks for a second at your question and shakes his head no. “let's go to bed. ‘m tired.” he mutters and leans his head forward to rest his forehead against your stomach. you put the moisturizer away and wrap your arms around his neck, hugging him a little closer to you. “you can go lay down. i still need to brush my teeth.” you tell him and he replies with a small grunt. “not without you.” you barely understand him since his cheek is smushed against your stomach, he’s adorable. “i’ll be there in two minutes. i promise.” after kissing his forehead once more, you pull away from him and walk over to the sink and start to brush your teeth.
yuuji pouts, already missing the warmth of your body against his. he gets up from the toilet and walks up behind you, wraps his arms around your waist and leans his cheek against the back of your head. “are you done yet?” he mumbles groggily. “didn't even start yet, baby.” you reply while applying toothpaste to your toothbrush and start brushing. yuuji buries his head into the crook of your neck, peppering your skin with small, soft kisses against your warm skin. you love when he gets clingy like this. he’s always clinging onto you, especially when he’s tired like this and you love every second of it. he never lets go of you and he gets grumpy when you don’t pay attention to him, you think he’s the cutest ever.
“are you sleeping?” you ask him after spitting out the toothpaste and rinsing out your mouth. you noticed he stopped kissing you and moving around and you can't' see his face since he’s hiding it in your neck. “almost.” he mumbles. you let out a small giggle and put the toothbrush away. “i’m done. let’s go to sleep.” and without a word he quickly picks you up bridal style and walks you both into your bedroom. you wrap your arms around his neck and hold onto him, letting out a small squeal because you did not expect him to pick you up. in your bedroom, yuuji lays you on your side of the bed and quickly lays down next to you, pulling the covers over you and letting out a sigh. “finally. i need cuddles. and sleep, much sleep.” he mutters tiredly, his face already buried in the crook of your neck, arms wrapped around your waist and a leg over your hip. you're completely wrapped up in his comforting warmth and you swear that nothing in this world feels better. you smile against his hair, a hand playing with it and your other hand gently running over his bicep which is draped over your chest. “me too. luckily we can sleep in tomorrow.” you reply and hug him closer. yuuji’s already half asleep, eyes closed and his warm breath hits your neck, goosebumps spreading over your skin. “want us to stay in bed the entire day tomorrow.” he mumbles, lips brushing against your skin. “we’ll do that, bubs.” you can feel him press a kiss to your neck, and nuzzle deeper into you. “perfect. goodnight, i love you s'much.” he mutters and presses a few more kisses onto your skin. you hide your smile in his hair, “sleep well, i love you more.” you reply. two seconds later he's already snoring quietly. you let out a small chuckle and close your eyes, falling asleep in his warm embrace.

oikawa’s been trying to pass you a note all lesson.
he’s wondering how many more times he can fake a cough without being too noticable, four has already passed his lips and he thinks five might be toeing the line. instead, oikawa stretches in his seat, long limbs reaching out as he waves not so subtly in your direction.
you still don’t notice. oikawa deflates.
your attention has been stolen by the view outside. the sun peaks through spun sugar clouds, dotting a picture blue sky, not a flaw in sight. a gentle breeze encourages the largest cloud to move onto new paths, falling behind a lane of cherry blossom trees. pink dances in the wind, flowers swaying in time before they set off into the skies. and its only when the loose petal that you’ve been following flies up into the air and beyond your vision, that oikawa finally manages to catch your focus. he’s nothing if not determined.
giving up on the note tucked between his slender fingers, oikawa takes to making obvious signs. a point at himself, then you, followed by a thumb at the door, a questionable little dance to mimic the flowers outside, and a finger tapped to his wrist where he bears no watch ends the message.
“am i interrupting your conversation?” your economics teacher deadpans, brow raised unamusedly.
“not at all, sir,” oikawa swivels his gaze back to the front of the classroom, flashing his usual charming grin. you push your smile into the palm of your hand in an attempt to stifle your giggles. oikawa spares a glance to his left and you take the chance to nod eagerly, his cheer grows.
the bell takes an age to ring. oikawa’s been counting down the minutes, seconds, and it’s not a moment later that your palm is in his, tugging you out the door.
the laugh that escapes you is loud and spirited, neither of you seeming to mind all too much that your shared joy almost had you toppling down the stairs. because soon enough, you and tooru stand underneath the blue skies, circled by pink petals and one with the pretty scenery. in all your joy, lips curved and cheeks appled, you don’t notice oikawa’s pulled out his phone to capture the moment, heart stuttering at the picture he’s captured. you won’t notice until four months later, when the blossoms are long gone and oikawa has since become tooru.
tooru, you learn, has the awful habit of tucking his phone away. under sofa cushions, between blankets, almost always out of sight. so it’s only when you call your phone and find it mostly beneath his pillow, that you notice how you decorate his screen.
in an instant, you’re pulled back to early spring. cherry blossoms, conjoined hands and an echo of pleased laughter.
“did you find it?” tooru calls, and you respond with the candid of the memory.
tooru can’t find it in himself to be embarrassed about the picture, not when you’re looking at him with summer warmth. instead, he shrugs, feigning nonchalance despite his heart being a mere flutter away from leaving his chest altogether, “wanted to remember that moment.”
this time, you turn your own phone towards tooru. and he stares, in disbelief then love, as his eyes meet his own, softening at the picture of himself. cherry blossoms, conjoined hands and an echo of pleased laughter.
tooru’s heart leaves. it’s all yours.

nah cause that’s so cute. he’d be so kind and gentle about it. he’s got all the patience in the world and won’t ever get angry about the amount of times it takes for you to get the movements right be it the servers, spikes or blocks. he’s def one of the guys to treat you for the good job you’ve done during training today :(
imagine him waiting for you outside class during break and holding you hand in his as he steps ahead and guided you through the crowd making sure you gave zero discomfort. he’s the kind to get an extra bento box for you
