i do think body hair and fat rolls and weak jawlines and ext are sexy, but that’s not why women like that are deserving of respect for their bodies. fundamentally, if your response to bodyshaming aimed at women is to go “uh, well, i’d fuck her” you don’t get it. its not about sexiness, it’s about your ability to respect someone you dont find attractive and not bring it up at every available time and not generalize all women with a certain body type

Was getting in my feelings in a store because I was thinking about Vanichai and the "fell in love with a lie" aspect of them...I mean, Vanilla didn't realize what he was feeling, but he was def lowkey crushing on the Chai he met in college that always acted cool and ~mysterious.~

Then Chai tells him in the present that he was faking it till he made it and kept a lot of things to himself back then. Vanilla comes to understand why he felt the need to be like that. He's actually relieved that most of it was lies because he convinced himself Chai was just an egotistical asshole, which he kinda was to an extent, but he's so relieved to know it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Just a coping mechanism to deal with an inferiority complex. He is really happy and excited to get to know the real Chai after everything, though. He's also glad Chai has come around to liking his authentic self and doesn't have to depend on becoming a big shot rock star to feel good about himself.

For the most part, the only big changes are Chai's attitude and him being more open and real with Vani. Letting himself admit when he doesn't know what Vani's talking about when he gets really technical about music talk and asking him to explain stuff to him. Their friendship is so much better this time around because of this proper communication and lack of shame. Just guys being genuine dudes.

AND ON THE FLIP SIDE Vanilla isn't idolizing him or putting him on a pedestal because of the lies Chai fed him. In retrospect, he bursts out laughing realizing how he never caught onto how lost Chai was whenever he'd ramble to him in college. He stops laughing real quick when he realizes it was his rose tinted glasses and him being so taken with him that he just rationalized those confused stares as him "being tired" or something. And a bit of the autism, maybe...

A part of Vanilla's clingy behavior and everything also came from a selfish place. He wanted to be understood and to know someone as passionate about music as he was who "got him" and he kept projecting things onto Chai because of their similar interests and goals. He wanted to think of him as someone who could rock on his wavelength, and any crack in the illusion would make him uneasy. Thank God he realized how uncool he was being once these two make up.

ARTISTS FOR PALESTINE 🇵🇸 - ROUND 3!! On the 26th April and 3rd of May, I'll be doing art requests on stream with other notable artists to raise money for Palestinian escape funds.
