i love this scene particularly, because it shows how comfortable dream actually feels around hob. the way he sits down and leans back, relaxed? most of the time he holds himself very strictly, he's so composed because of his position and the burden he has to carry. he can be more himself probably only in the dreaming yet he has to keep his feelings inside there because he's lord of dreams, so again - maintaining the position. and here? he looks like he breathed again. i haven't seen him like this through the entire show

The Seabring pulled up yards away from the building where Adrian was told to meet the asshole thugs who took you, he could see several people walking along the outside holding weapons, waiting for something. Were they waiting for him or someone else? He didn’t need to be there till sundown according to their instructions, he was so early after he got the text message, his nerves were frayed while all he could do was picture you and how scared you probably were. You didn’t deserve any of this and it wasn’t fair, but that was a conversation left to deal with for another time, all that mattered was your safety. So he devised a plan as best as he could in such a short amount of time, he packed all of the weapons he could possibly carry without becoming too encumbered, he needed to be able to move quickly if necessary, but the more firepower he had the more he could take out. 

He stood in the shaded area hidden amongst the trees where they couldn’t see him from a couple of hundred feet away, but he still had the upper hand and would try to sneak down the path that led to the side of the building and keep the element of surprise. He stood there and thought about his best friend Chris, who would have gone in guns blazing, and without much thought, he wished he had the nerve to be that courageous for you. But Chris wasn’t here to help, he needed to think straight and get you the hell out of there alive and in one piece. 

He hiked down the footworn trail and found a decent space where he could easily set up a sniper and pick off the watchers one by one, his aim easily taking them out with a clear shot. Boom. Boom. Boom. Bullets to the head, they fell and didn’t get back up. The outside was clear within a matter of minutes, all he needed to do was get inside.

You, on the other hand, woke up in a daze, the pain in your head throbbed and it tore you out of the stupor you were in, your eyes adjusted to the harsh fluorescent light in the paintball building as you blinked harshly. You would probably have a bruised eye from how your face felt, and you weren’t entirely happy with that idea. You made no sounds but your breathing quickened as you saw three armed men guarding you in the main hall, your eyes scanned the area and all you could see was an open room and tall rafters, your entire area was open and it could be very easy to take out your captors from any area of the room. 

One of the men noticed you were awake and smiled with disdain and kicked the leg of your chair once he neared you, hoping to keep you fearful enough that you wouldn’t try anything. 

“Look who’s awake, finally up and movin’, eh?” You remained silent and that didn’t go over too well with him. “Where the hell is Vigilante?”
