I felt that the art needed a little bit more of context, so i made a little something to go with it under the cut <3 

The themes i choose for these where Magical/Mythical relations, Reunions and Lights, and the prompt i choose was Soulmates.

The people in the village have legends about them, some are truer than others. They say you can see two spirits at night, they are never alone, as they shine brighter in the company of the other. Their purpose is to be a guide light for any spirit that might need it.

my piece for the @kakairu-discord-server’s Secret Anbu Exchange event!! i was hoping i’d be able to post on actual christmas, but alas, life got in the way! hope you enjoy regardless, @animetrashmuffin!

Kakashi paced around the ANBU locker room. When he’d heard a mission had gone awry he wasn’t initially worried, missions went wrong it was just an occupational hazard, but when he’d heard it was Otter’s squad he couldn’t stop his anxiety.

He knew Iruka could handle himself but there was talk of sending someone to collect bodies.

When Iruka opened the door to the locker room and removed his mask Kakashi had nearly jumped on the poor man before remembering he could be injured.

“Are you okay?” Kakashi asked, pulling his own mask aside to look at his partner.

Iruka looked tired and battle worn, but he smiled as he grabbed Kakashi’s hand, “I am now.”
