On the one hand I totally agree with this and I'm glad that countries are cooperating and working together.

On the other hand if all of these countries are willing to trade and give permits for oil and gas, a vital and essential resource for an economy on par with food, then none of them should have a problem with the US peaceing out if NATO and Europe in general since the whole point is that NATO is supposed to protect Europe from Russia.
