Old Habits...

Judessa was glad to be home.

She was content, despite all the things that were stacked against her.  Threats of her mistakes being found out…  The fact that her friend, Ratheinis, was wilted and grappling with the quiet suggestion of just not waking up again as she tend to the hole that was gaping beneath his ribs.  A small hum escaped Judessa as she worked, soaking a clump of cotton in a clotted mixture of herbs and water she’d sought out directly from Winterspring.  Clean and cold.  The paladin that was the subject of her questionable medical care didn’t respond as she muttered about moving the bandages over the wound…  She didn’t bother glancing over, knowing his eyelids wouldn’t even twitch as she rose her voice and prattled on.
