     hey guys, its been awhile

     i think its obvs that this blog is p Dead and i’m really sorry for that, keeping up with threads and stuff got stressful and i just felt like i was disappointing people a lot

     but i do miss NiGHTS and i’m thinking about remaking? maybe??

     if i do i’ll probably be more selective about who i follow, or i’ll try to be, i don’t want to be overwhelmed again, i just really miss my dream child

     would you all still wanna write w me, if it happens?

     i know i’m not active right now but i’m Eyes Emoji at what’s happening right now, you know who you are

     “‘National Boyfriend Day?’”

     NiGHTS has never heard of it before, so it must not be a very popular holiday like Christmas or Halloween, both of which they have a tradition of celebrating whenever they roll around.

     Popular or not, though, if it’s a holiday, they’re going to celebrate it.

     And NiGHTS knows just the person to celebrate it with.

     “Klonoa!!”

     They’re floating upside down in front of the cabbit, a bright smile gracing their delicate features, and without warning, they place their gloved hands on his cheeks and give him a big ol’ smooch right on his lips.

     ftr nights would actually rather die than return to wizeman because the only way they’d return to wizeman is if he replaced their consciousness with another one and they’d rather die than have that happen, SO

     Like, there’s probably moments where NiGHTS wants to open up in some way, but it’s just...so hard to talk about everything they went through and what they’ve done, and it’s so hard to be vulnerable at all when it goes against things they were taught from the moment they came into existence. They don’t want to be defined by their past, and that’s fair, but pretending it Doesn’t Exist doesn’t really help, either. I’ve legitimately considered the idea of them, like, okay...while Dualized with someone, I have a head-canon that NiGHTS can probe through a person’s mind if they want to, provided the Visitor isn’t actively blocking them out, and theoretically, the reverse could be done as well, but obviously they’re not going to say that that’s a Thing and they’re probably keeping their thoughts and such under lock and key, anyway. 

     But...what if NiGHTS did let someone in that way? They’d have to trust you to the utmost to let you see their thoughts and experiences that even they don’t want to think about, but maybe that’s how they’re most comfortable revealing their past to someone.

     Pft, who TALKS about their feelings?

     Around here, we lie to ourselves and everyone else while pretending our bad experiences haven’t affected us as much as they actually have. (◡‿◡✿)

     ALSO NiGHTS is ... not completely free of bitterness themselves, like when i took JoD into account again, they’re very done with Reala’s shit throughout the game, they don’t want to talk to him, they’re very exasperated every time he show up because they know it means he’s here to start shit when they just wanna enjoy their freedom in peace and like, why can’t you just leave them alone, Reala, now they have to fight you because you’re not going to go away otherwise

     honestly, there’s so much bitterness between NiGHTS and Reala now that, even if Reala did eventually rebel, i don’t think their relationship would just ... go back to being on friendly terms

     NiGHTS would still be very much relieved if Reala wasn’t working for Wizeman and trying to capture them anymore, though

     So, I was going back through my old blog and found where I had considered a ‘verse where NiGHTS was back under Wizeman’s control.

     It was terrible and I’d never do it now because I love them too much, but it’s awful fun to think about.
