fabrico [to craft, repair]

thinking about the thauminium aspects again and the relation between being a zombie, a self reborn and recrafted by his god from a state of death, and comprised of parts put together.. also love the headcanon that pre-death as a half human Tom had to sew parts of himself back together again due to the spread of the zombification, and occasionally when he dies and doesnt comes back right (via in-game respawning) he has to quite literally repair himself

bonus silly ship bit: if handstiching doesnt work, also have kisses to make it better

THOUGHT GAINED: INFERNAL ENGINES

PROBLEM

The world is ending. You know it, your neighbor knows it, the dealer knows it, the jailer knows it, the king and all his men know it. All one has to do is look around to see it— the future is curdling into something pale and incorporeal. The infernal machine that is this stupid world is going to blow, sooner rather than later. So what are you doing? Why are you still here? Why is anyone still here?

SOLUTION

You are doing the only thing worth doing. You are living. *Why,* you ask? Try and remember now. Remember your mother’s hand on your shoulder. Remember the taste of a fresh catch. Remember the times when you were kind to the dogs in the valley and they did not bare their teeth. Remember the weight of a child on your shoulders. Remember the stars throwing their light against the wall of sodium and smog. Remember singing until your throat was raw. Remember crying just as loudly and publicly, and the gentleness with which someone opened your curled fist and pressed a handkerchief into your palm. Crying, laughing, running, eating, screaming, haunting, loving, fighting, fighting, fighting. The fight fuels you, and you fuel the fight. You run yourself ragged just for a chance to keep running. You never stop. You cannot stop. The world depends on it. *You* are the infernal engine. You are the world. And, simply put: you want to live.

the worst part about having huge autistic fantasy worlds in your head is that it takes like 8 billion years to turn that into something substantial you can show people

like oh yeah man i have these 60 OCs and a whole plot about the ethical and moral implications of meeting your alternate timeline self and if it's worth sacrificing a whole artificial timeline to get back to your own time. no you cannot see them

The Price of Loyalty [Mianite Oneshot]

Relationships: Tom Syndicate & Captain Capsize

Characters: Tom Syndicate, Lord Dianite, Captain Capsize

As often happens, Tom is doing a job for the criminal lord he calls a boss. Digging a shallow grave in the middle of the night isn’t the worst thing he’s ever been asked to do, but there’s a certain nervousness he can’t shake off tonight. His gut feelings turn out to be vindicated in the worst possible way when it’s revealed to stay loyal to Dianite he’ll need to leave his friend to an unimaginable fate.
