writing style ------ MESSY !!!  to give him some credit, it starts off fairly neat.  that lasts maybe a few lines, though, and then it goes to shit.  he’ll write too fast because he has too much to do and he has no patience to take his time and so then it’ll turn into chicken scratch.  it’s not necessarily sloppy but it’s very, very hard to decipher.  characters will blend into one another and he’d honestly have done well to have a scribe but he can’t be bothered to dictate what he wants written.  his mind moves too quickly.

taste in music/literature ------ i’m answering this specifically in regards toward his generic modern verse;;  mitsunari’s got an affinity for classical music, which includes scores and classical covers of contemporary music.  beyond that, his general rule of thumb is that it has to be catchy to him.  music that features any sort of classical instrument tend to win him over.  as for literature ------ well,  mitsunari isn’t the biggest fan of reading or writing, but he has an appreciation for classic literature as well as anything that will enable him to think critically on the book’s thematic elements.  in conclusion, mitsunari is a Snob™.

time-wasting habits ------ ultimately it would depend on why he’s trying to waste time  ( he genuinely prefers not to waste time, on principle )  but ultimately it comes down to him either cleaning or doing more work.  when cleaning he has a habit of being very meticulous.  he’s a perfectionist by nature, he’ll clean something more than once to ensure it’s done properly.  also a workaholic by nature, mitsunari has no qualms with doing more than his normal share if it means passing time.

nervous habits ------ teeth-grinding is perhaps his worst nervous habit.  he does it when anxious and he does it when stressed and he hardly ever realizes it.  other nervous habits include finger-tapping and bouncing his leg.  he’ll bounce his leg so rapidly it’s bound to make other people notice.

sleeping habits ------ at least 75% of the time, mitsunari will carve in a minimum of five hours of sleep in his busy schedule.  sleep is a necessity for him to function, even that means he’ll pass out on top of his papers before he gives himself the opportunity to make it to his actual bed.  he is a light sleeper, however ------ it is terribly easy to wake him, and disturbing his slumber will always result in an incredibly grumpy fox. 

laugh ------ rumored to be nonexistent.  it’s a challenge to even get mitsunari to crack a smile, let alone laugh.  any verbal expression of amusement usually is heard through huffs and grunts and snorts.  even when drunk, his amusement is expressed through incessant snickering.  the man just doesn’t laugh.  he’s not ticklish, either.

sadness ------ this is another expression of emotion that is rarely seen from mitsunari ;  not in public, at any rate.  he masks profound sadness and despair through gritted teeth, tense muscles, and clenched fists and then in an instant he’ll act as though he’s unaffected.  this ability to mask his sadness so well finds him at odds with masanori and kiyomasa frequently, especially following hideyoshi’s death.  should these negative emotions fester inside him enough he’ll successfully hold off until he’s alone  ( for the most part )  before he falls apart entirely.  even then he’s always trying to hold back, he’ll be sobbing but his body will be unbelievable tense and he’ll be struggling to try to rein himself in and put himself back together.  he believes he just doesn’t have the time.
