Official fandom petition to start tagging book-only fan art and other works under the tags, 'book accurate crows,' and 'biblically accurate crows,' if you wanna get more whimsical about it. It'll do wonders for organization in the SoC fandom tag. Sound like a good idea?

I propose a modern AU where Jesper is a successful YouTuber, and his audience grows increasingly distressed and confused whenever the other Crows show up in the background, like: Are those infamous criminals Kaz Brekker and Inej Ghafa????? Is that famous politician Wylan Van Eck???? He's your boyfriend???? HOW DO YOU KNOW THESE PEOPLE WHAT'S GOING ON IN YOUR HOUSE

There are memes about Jesper's channel exposing Wylan's involvement in organized crime. The fans try to piece together what jobs Jesper was possibly involved in. They dig up invasive personal information about his gambling addiction, and there's an explosion of discourse about whether or not blaming Jesper for being involved in a gang is ableist or not. Jesper responds to all this by doing a joke interview video with Kaz and Inej and people get SO pissed.

flashback to the time after s1 came out when i was genuinely tempted to edit a version of the show and only keep the salvageable parts (alina’s storyline) and cut out the parts they butchered (the crows)

like how badly do you have to fuck up your adaptation that the grisha trilogy is better than six of fucking crows???

what if instead of putting the crows in the show they put like, original characters in the show. or even, if they wanted to fuck with the timeline, younger versions of some of the adults we see in soc. made them characters that would have held power in the barrel over teenagers like the (real) crows. this would raise the odds of the crooked kingdom storyline if it was established that the characters the crows were up against had already gone against the darkling and co. it would also lend itself to the preexisting themes of soc, because the whole point of that story was that it was about the nobodies of the world carving out a place for themselves, and pitting the crows against characters involved in the magical chosen one storyline would be so much more compelling than putting the crows themselves in the magical chosen one storyline
