I know I haven’t been around for the last year or so but things have been pretty awful in my personal life.
Anyway, just wanted to say I’ve recently started a Society6 account if anyone’s interested…
It would really help me out :) (my finances have been crazy recently and I’m doing all I can to get back on track!)
Josh watched Tyler, an amused smirk on his face.
“We’re best friends. That’s it,” Tyler insisted.
“Uh-huh,” Josh replied, trying to look serious as he watched his friend’s cheeks colour with embarassment.
“…”
A few seconds of silence under Josh’s gaze and Tyler couldn’t take it.
“Ok, fine. So maybe I do like her, but come on man, gimme a break. Just don’t tell her.”
Josh rose to stand, making his way towards the exit.
“Dude, I mean it… Josh? Josh!”
Tyler called after him but the only reply was the sound of Josh’s laughter echoing in the hall.

“And Tyler, how do you feel about y/n’s declaration that she loves you?” the interviewer asked.
“Her what?”
“On twitter? Everyone knows you’ve been dating for a while now, but we all want to know if this means things are getting serious?”
Tyler froze, stunned as the new information set in.
“Whoa, that’s awesome news, man.” Josh said, bringing Tyler back to the present.
“Huh, yeah. Yeah, that’s… something… I.. I gotta go,” he finally said, standing up. “I’ll catch you in five, Josh.”
Tyler moved out of the camera frame, giving a quick apology to the interviewer and the crew. As he left the building, he pulled out his phone to find your number, unable to keep the huge smile from his face.
Tyler’s eyes narrowed as he caught you pointing your phone at him.
Correctly guessing that you were taking a picture he began to twist his features pulling a face at you.
You started to giggle, smothering it behind your hand at the sharp look from the sound guy.
“…and what about you Tyler?” the presenter asked him.
“Yeah, I mean, I pretty much agree with Josh, y’know? He’s the wisest guy I know,” he answered without missing a beat, though you knew he hadn’t heard the question.
The presenter carried on oblivious but Tyler caught your eye with a tell-tale smirk.
“Please say yes,” Josh added, before you could reply, “he’s unbearable when he’s pining.”
Looking up at Tyler’s hopeful face, you knew there was only one answer.
“Let me make a call, I’m sure I can swing a few more days.”
Tyler’s face broke into a beautiful smile that you couldn’t help mirroring at thought of spending more time with your favourite guy.

“Y/n? Will you come here a sec?” You heard Tyler call from the other room.
He’d been thinking of ideas for the new music video so you were excited to see what he had to show you.
His back was to you as you entered the room.
“What’ve ya got?” you asked eagerly though you regretted it as soon as he turned. You let out a small yelp of surprise.
“Hey babe.” His voice rumbled out as he purposely deepened it. He had black paint over his hands and neck and his eyes were a glowing red.
“Ty! Quit it!” you squealed as he moved towards you.
He started to laugh.
“Sorry, I’m sorry, I’ll stop!"
You watched as he removed the contact lenses, his eyes back to their usual warm brown. "It’s effective though right?”
just a quick note to say sorry for going mia. i'm hoping to be back online again real soon.
“Don’t worry about it, man. She’s gonna love it,” Josh said giving Tyler a hug. He pats his chest, “Come on, buddy. I’ll be right there. You can do this.”
Tyler gave him a small smile but his eyes betrayed his nerves. He took a few deep breaths before heading towards the stage with Josh by his side.
“Let’s make this the best freaking night so far,” he said with determination.
He fistbumped Josh and took one last breath before bursting out onto the stage, ready to make you proud.
“...and it sounds really cliché and kinda... I just, I want you to know that I really mean it when I say that my life has changed since I met you…”
Your heart aches and swells as you watch him speak. It’s not often you see Tyler look this small, this nervous. His gaze remains down like he’s afraid of your reaction as he continues.
“I don’t know… I... You’ve become so important to me, y/n... and I think I like you. Like really like you. As in more than friends.”
“Ty, look at me,” you say gently, reaching for his hands where they fidget in his lap.
“I feel the same way. I like, really like you too.”

“What?!” you asked, confused. You twisted in your dressing table seat to look at him. “Where on earth has this idea come from?”
“I found a clip!” he replied, producing it from behind his back. You let out a bemused chuckle.
“Well, I guess you better get started!”
A triumphant grin spread across his face. You turned back to the mirror and met his eyes in the reflection.
“I’m gonna need to time redo it after all…”
He feigned shock and you laughed again as he moved closer, hugging you from behind.
“Oh man, that’s awkward” Tyler muttered to Josh as he rubbed his arm.
“What’s up?”
“That guy over there looks like he’s hitting on y/n,”
“And..?” Josh asked, wondering where this was going.
“And, I kinda wanted to ask her out but it’d be weird now,” Tyler replied with a defeated shrug.
“No it wouldn’t. You should ask her!”
Tyler shook his head a little.
“Dude, go ask her. She is definitely not interested in that guy. You’d be doing her a favour, trust me.”
“What d’ya mean?”
“I mean she likes you too, dummy. Now go!” Josh finished, nudging Tyler in your direction.
