Big(tm) Star Wars content creators want to talk about the Mandalorian promo pictures and Daisy Ridley's one interview about Rey Kenobi more than John Boyega's comment about Disney and LF's racism nor denouncing Gina Carano for being a qanon trump supporter & transphobe.

I've already seen like 5 content creators making videos about Rey Kenobi the first few minutes it is announced, and it just keeps coming. But none of them dedicated a video to talk about John Boyega's treatment and most of them just went "yeahh cool lemme retweet enough activism for today." And opening older wounds... lmao no one defended Kelly Marie Tran with the same intensity either when the issue first came to light.

The disparity is so obvious and enraging. They can confirm "Ziro the Hutt confirmed for Mandalorian!" and it'll get more attention by big content creators than actual important shit about racism and denouncing vile people in the industry.

Rian Johnson and Ryan Murphy seem like they’d really get along considering their penchant for disregarding character setup, writing outrageous plots that ultimately contribute nothing, and of course cruelly and thoughtlessly sidelining their characters/actors of color in favor of the whites

I would definitely say the racism inherent in their works make them bad writers. Rian Johnson using the angle of immigration in Knives out for a white latinx women as if the threat of that is more likely to have to black and indigenous latinx people, as well as Lakeith Stanfield having shit all to do for being the only or one of the few black characters, and despite my own problems with the actor he is actually good at what he does so I’m not sure why tf Rian once again sidelined characters of color. The racism in Rian’s work does make him a bad writer, you can’t just handwave cause some parts of the work are good as well. 

Certain Reylo Fans: A Call Out Post

The worst thing about stans is that not only do they have this black-and-white view when it comes to their faves and anyone opposed them in the book/movie/show whatever, but also of real people. One good example: “John Boyega isn’t a fundamentally bad person and he definitely deserves kudos for his public activism” and “John Boyega is full of shit when it comes to Star Wars” are not in any way, shape or form contradictory statements, yet most people just can’t seem to get it?! (Then there are geniuses who agree with some of the bullshit he says about Star Wars, apparently unaware that he actually defended fucking JJ Abrams.) You people really don’t know anyone who is pretty decent IRL and just has some stupid opinions about a piece of media?! Shouldn’t reylos of all people understand what it’s like to be judged for what they think about the space wizard movies?!

so you gonna tell someone who has been called racial slurs by reylos, been told that finn is a coal boy, monkey, and all types of shit by reylos an idiot? Your fandom has literally harassed John Boyega and are just the same as the white people who were mad that he was even cast in the first place. Explain what part of the sequel trilogy did not treat the character/actors of color with the same consideration as the white characters is a stupid onion dumbfuck? quickly? cause the way y'all continue to act like there isn't an element of racism in both the way John was treated by your ratlo's is something else. Do you not remember the reylos who were sitting here acting like John didn't experience racism, the reylos who lied on him and made him feel like shit. Like for real y'all are one of the worst parts of this fandom. John will literally say y'all and LF/Dsney were racist to him and call it a stupid opinion.
