July 2, 2021 - Supernatural trends after Jensen's Instagram post.
Jensen shares two pictures with a caption: "Late night filming. 3am. Listening to @toolmusic may not be the best thing to put me in bed. Or is it? Just tryin to cope with shit." [x]
Many fans also took note of Jensen's use of the word "cope" which is a fandom meme. The story behind it is that a very vocal anti-destiel fan was, uhm, unhappy with the 15x18 Nov 5 episode and demanded to know what the writer of the episode, Bobo Berens "had to say on the matter." Bobo replied with "Cope" and the meme was born.
Even though it's the Jensen's post that's the reason for the trend, a few other things have happened over the past 24 hours, namely: the script to 12x22 was released; Sebastian Roché tweeted that The French Mistake was the best spn episode; Kim Rhodes confirmed that she'd be on a Comic Con in Kansas City in August.
