Wanna Commission Me, Or Support My Work?

Hi!! I was wondering if you'd ever consider writing a second part to your Max Goodwin fix Formalities Aside?

Probably not, unfortunately. That wasn’t one I enjoyed writing as much as some of the others, so I wouldn’t be all that inclined to continue it.

Although, if you have an idea for where you’d like it to go, you’re more than welcome to send me that idea and I may be inclined to change my mind. I can’t make any promises, but with an idea of how to progress, it would certainly boost its chances of getting a part 2.

What were your thoughts on You, Me And Him? Thoughts on David Tennant in the film? 😍🥵🤤

It was good. A rollercoaster of emotions that I wasn’t quite expecting out of what is labeled as a comedy, but I enjoyed it well enough. David was amazing and adorable as always. Took me a minute to adjust to his look, as I’m totally not used to seeing him with a beard, but I grew quite fond of it. I am making an OC for Olivia (Lucy Punch’s character) and would potentially consider an OC for David’s character as well.

Do you like fashion boards, interior design boards, romantic moodboards, ask games, prompts, edits, fics and OCs?

If so, please consider following my OC blog, @eddysocs, where I post all of these things. And please feel free to ask to be added to my taglists. I have one for everything I post or the option to be added to individual fandoms or OCs.

Requests will be reopening soon for my OC stuff, so check it out and see if anything grabs your interest. I have usually one or more posts a day over there and a Rita Skeeter x OC smut one shot that will be coming out soon.

Again that’s @eddysocs! Hope to see you there.

Fic readers, never feel awkward about commenting! Comment, interact, I beg you!

Whether the fic has multiple comments or none, comment.

Whether the fandom is brand new or decades old, comment. People rewatch old favorites all the time and are constantly discovering new things as they are released or long after the source material ended.

Old fics deserve love as much as shiny new ones, and the more interaction there is for old fics can bring newcomers the confidence to post new fics for that thing you like. And getting some love on old fics can reignite the love for those characters/ships and help that author to revisit an old fave and post more for them. So comment!

The possibilities that commenting can bring are truly so limitless. Even if you can’t think up something more than, “I loved this!” we promise that is enough. It’s appreciated more than you know.

Buster Brady Having A Crush On You Would Include

  • He would become clumsier than usual around you, often dropping things or tripping over his own feet in your presence.
  • Buster would constantly seek your attention, whether it's by offering to help you with tasks or by trying to make you laugh with various silly antics.
  • He might start bringing you small gifts or tokens of affection, like flowers he picked from the garden (that he was expressly forbidden to do) or “homemade” (shoplifted) treats.
  • Buster would become more nervous and shy around you, struggling to find the right words to say when you're around.
  • He would go out of his way to spend time with you, suggesting activities or outings that he thinks you would enjoy, even if they’d normally bore him to tears.
  • He would blush or stammer when you compliment him, not used to receiving positive attention from someone he admires.
  • Buster might enlist the help of his friends, like Dermot, or even Mrs. Brown, to subtly find out if you have any romantic interest in him.
  • He would be incredibly supportive of you, always offering a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on whenever you need it.
  • Buster would light up whenever you enter the room, his eyes sparkling with admiration and affection for you.

Kids (BBC Ghosts Preference)

Fanny Button: Fanny would make a good, yet strict mother, though children have never truly been high on her list of things she wants out of life. They always felt like more of an obligation to her, but she could be agreeable to having a second chance of it.

Julian Fawcett: Julian wasn’t great with his own daughter when he was alive, but there are definitely times where he wishes he could go back and do better. Be better. He probably wouldn’t want a lot of kids running around, but a chance to be a good father to one special kid would be alright with him.

Kitty: Kitty would want to have tons of kids, though honestly she’d treat them more like playmates rather than parent them. She might not have the responsibility that comes with parenting, but she’d have oodles of enthusiasm and love to give.

Mary: Children sort of make Mary nervous. She doesn’t have the proper nature to get much out of raising a child. She could do it if she had a good co-parent to help her through, but she’d always be scared of screwing everything up.

Pat Butcher: Pat would want a huge family. He’s got a lot of love to give and is definitely putting out a gentle parent vibe, prioritizing safety but allowing his kids to have fun and make their own mistakes and just get the most out of life.

Thomas Thorne: Thomas would love to have children. Three, maybe four at the most. He’d love to see little versions of himself and his spouse running around. He’d teach them poetry (and be slightly bitter about it when one of them turns out to be a better poet than he is). But even so, he’s just love to have a happy family life.

Imagine Wong bringing Stephen to one of your concerts.

"The last thing I want to do is go to a—"

And that had been the last word on the matter before Wong hauled Stephen along with him to the philharmonic anyway. He’d been holed up in the sanctum for far too long and he needed some kind of stimulation that had nothing to do with magic, well, not the literal kind anyway.

Wong had enjoyed your performances before, thinking you to be a master composer and an equally talented conductor. He was sure, despite the sorcerer's protests, that Stephen would find a similar feeling towards your talents as he did. And when he looked over at him observing the performance unfolding on stage, he looked positively spellbound.

As the last note faded away, the room erupted in gracious applause, Stephen being the one to lead the charge in a standing ovation. "I must have a word with the conductor, can you make that happen," he asked, leaning over to speak in Wong's ear.

The next thing you knew, you were smiling backstage at the magnificent concert your orchestra had put on and then the Sorcerer Supreme was standing in front of you, shaking your hand with a pleasant smile and a glint in his eyes that made your knees go a little weak. "I’d love to take you to dinner and talk about your compositions."

Had an Avenger truly just asked you out? Well, even if he wasn’t so nice to look at, you’d have been hard pressed to refuse. So you didn’t. "I would love to have dinner," you responded.

Better Days — Constance Langdon

Summary: You have a terrible day at work, and you just want to collapse and forget the day even happened until Constance comes over and makes it all a bit better.

Word Count: 396

Warnings: Little angsty, but mostly just fluff

The air inside the Murder House was thick with an eerie stillness as you stepped back inside of it. Tonight, the house felt more foreboding than usual, and it mirrored the heaviness in your body. It was as if it were matching itself to your mood. You could almost chuckle if you weren’t so exhausted.

You slumped onto the couch, weighed down by the challenges of the day. The memories of work lingered just as clearly as the ghosts, refusing to fade away. It was then that Constance Langdon, your formidable neighbor, came knocking at your door. You wordlessly let her in.

Constance, with her trademark Southern charm, approached you with a warm smile when she noticed your sour mood. She followed you back to the couch and took a seat beside you, allowing your head onto her lap as if you were a house cat. Her elegant fingers ran through your hair in a soothing rhythm. The touch was surprisingly warm, and very much welcome after the absolutely hellish day you’d had.

"There, there, my dear," she spoke in a soft and sympathetic tone. "Not every day is sunshine and roses, but you've got strength in you. I've seen it." You looked up at her, and her eyes met yours with a reassuring gaze.

Though you still didn’t say anything back, you felt a sense of comfort in her presence. You might have been feeling near your lowest, but there was someone who cared. Constance's hands continued their gentle tracks through your hair, each stroke an unspoken promise that you weren't alone.

As the moments passed, your mood seemed to lighten somewhat, and Constance leaned down, placing a soft kiss on your forehead. Half asleep, you didn’t fight the lazy smile that formed on your lips at the affectionate gesture.

"You're stronger than you think, darling," she whispered, her voice carrying the weight of her own experiences. "We all have our demons to face, but remember, you have the power to rise above them. There will always be better days."

With a final, reassuring pat on your shoulder, you started to believe the wisdom in her words. You realized you should probably let her go, but the heaviness of your eyelids made moving seem like too much of a chore. Instead, you snuggled into her and she stayed until you were asleep, watching over you.
